Any Reina streamers?

I like to watch Reina gameplay and take notes or just yk chill and analyze but since the Kuni release almost all my main streamers have swapped over to kuni. Yoj, Tekravenger, Heavenly Uchiha even Yagami is mainly on Kuni from what I've seen. Are there any good Reina players I could tune into on yt, twitch or even soop? I'd even take ones who just have a bunch of old vods I can watch I wouldn't even bother making this post If these streamers had more old vods saved that way I could watch long forms instead of just going into the replay mode

You can't play this game casually without being some kinda evidence to someone's point apparently

The other day a friend of mine sent me a video of I guess someone clipping me in their tekken vid and the caption was something along the lines of "proof that ranked inflation is real".

For further context it was a match of me a G.O.D vs a TK God hwoarang in special style in quick match. From the start of this match, I kind of expected troll, so I just went through the motions and just tried to get the match over with not much of a care if I won or they did not to mention it was like 3am and I wasn't in the mood to deal with whatever idiocy this player was cooking up. Inevitably I loss, it happens no big deal. However, this player proceeded to Tbag me and my initial thought was "I guess so? Take that energy to ranked man"

The next day my friend sends me the clip and frankly we had a laugh about it, but I couldn't help but be curious how you can use the most casual environment to prove some point about this game. I mean quick match is ideally where you will practice things on this game how can you use any experience you have in this mode as some talking point? Then it made me wonder how many more people did stuff like this.

Anywho I just felt like sharing this odd experience, I always wanted to pop up in someone's clip lol

I'm tired boss...

Guys I'm really starting to get worried we might not see a nerf to king til the end of this game's life span. I mean Tekken 7 had four seasons, With so many core devs leaving I'm not very confident in anything further than season 4. Is anyone else having that weird concern in the back of their head??? We really waited this long, and king still has ducked major nerfs. I won't say I'm not hopeful because they've done a great job with recent patches, but I sure am Impatient lol.

Every time I see a king player good and bad I get such fatigue, it's a weird feeling to love a character so much but loathe them at the same time.

Anyone else wish we got more updates instead of one every new character/season release?

After waiting two years for good nerfs and finally getting them makes me feel so antsy for the next set of updates/nerfs. The devs have done a pretty good job of toning down characters but still a way to go especially with how Lidia and King have gone basically untouched the past few patches and now with the release of Kuni as stupidly strong as she. we have more that needs to be dealt with. I'm biting nails how eager I am for the next patch; it really can't come soon enough in my opinion.

In the next patch, what updates/nerfs do you think the devs should prioritize?

I said it once and I'll say it again!

I could sit for hours just staring at the character select screen

Say what ya want I worked for ts

I feel like I put double the work in that some players put in to hit this rank in season 3 and for that I'm proud. There's someone out there that didn't lab a day in their life, didn't watch a single replay, never questioned a single mistake and hit this rank. Not me though, that's why it means something to me to finally hit the rank I've been aiming for since I started this game.

I won't discredit this rank because there are people genuinely struggling to get here and I say kudos to those people. Now it's back to the lab for me.

I suck at gathering information on my opponent.

I suck at the "downloading" aspect of this game. I've also played people better than me and they pointed out that I tend to "play by the book but also throw moves out and just hope that the outcome you want happens" aka I don't play with a real gameplan. Maybe there isn't a definitive way or working on this stuff, but any advice would be nice. Skill wise I feel like I've hit a major wall.

Never met a defensive Jun player tbh

I was told Jun and Asuka were supposed to be the defensive characters of Tekken but all I ever see with these two is aggression piled with a 50 DEF stat. What happened?

I'm so angry and happy at the same time.

I told myself in season 2 after hitting tekken king that I'd get humbled this season...man was I wrong. A part of me is actually worried I might actually hit GOD, a goal I told myself I'd shoot for last season once I felt ready.

I haven't had a struggle climbing so far at all (which is why I'm angry) and I wanna say it's all that practice I've been doing. Labbing every day, watching pro play, hell I even went back and watched pro play from Tag 1 and Tekken 7 to find things to add to my games. Is all that really paying off this much lol? I won't say I haven't learned anything because I definitely have, I'm just surprised. Whatever I'm happy I went above and beyond my goal on my first tekken that's all that matters.

Wish me luck to GOD next, I guess lmao.

Am I doing the lab thing right lol

Maybe it's just me expecting to have certain strings down immediately upon learning their counter play but I feel like I'm not doing this whole lab the matchup thing right. I record certain strings that are punishable or have good evasion counterplay and I'll spam each of them one at a time for maybe an hour. Like I'm doing it right but is there a more effective way of doing this?

Don't get it twisted I'm, perfectly fine with some long practice, i just wanna make sure I'm going about this correctly. Furthermore, how long shoud I stay on one character? If I lab law for one day I'll forget the next thats how everything works. I guess maybe I'm asking for a more structed regime when it comes to trying to lab everyone.

I could sit with the character select screen just open for HOURS

This game is so satisfying to look at. Not only that but I get a bit of nostalgia from it honestly.

One of my oldest memories when it comes to fighting games was just sitting on my dad's PlayStation taking forever while I scrolled through the entire character list of DOA it took me forever to pick a fighter in that game. I don't remember their name since I didn't play alot but I think I picked this old man?? That or I was getting beat up by an old man lol.

Nonetheless, the character select screen will always be my favorite part about any fighting games.

Man, we really are privileged these days

All the info and help to improve at this game is just spoon-fed to us these days lol.

A website that gives you all the info plus anti strats on a character

A mod that literally allows you to save your practice mode recordings for any character PLUS a site that has multiple drills and recordings uploaded by others that you can add to the mod and use for yourself!?!?! (sorry console users)

The only excuse you have not to get good these days is effort and time.

If you're interested in these resources and don't already know about them here, you go:

TekkenDocs - Frame data and resources for Tekken

TekkenMods - OpenDojo - Tekken 8 practice-mode recording import/export mod

Opendojo Drills Library

Original post for Opendojo mod

(This site is currently in beta, and access is exclusive to those who contact u/SufficientType7194, by far my favorite resource paired with the Opendojo mod, PLEASE go show some support so we can keep it going. The more users and support the sooner we get it to be an open site for all)

What stick is good without any modifications needed

I think I’ve been here before for a previous situation but I’m currently on the search for a new fightstick. My budget is roughly 200-250 USD, I come to Reddit because though there are pretty good sticks just out there, it seems like people tend to always modify the stick. To be more specific what games I’m referring to primarily fighters like tekken. I originally had a Qanba drone and people said it wasn’t a great option without modifying.

With that being said what is a good stick to use without modifying. I was looking at the Qanba obsidian series 1 or. 2

Why are their two Lee characters on the Tag 2 roster lol

I forget but was it something along the line of him using a secret identity to get in the tournament Jinppachi was hosting. Even so what's the difference between him and normal Lee in the actual game?
