Lucky 13 Bass Blues Harmonicas

I paid about $60 for each. They have 3 extra low note holes. Used the C for the audio.

Best Ice Chest Ever

Some of these stickers I had, some I bought, some were given to me and many I found stuck to various places in New Orleans. They're all crazy glued on. This ice chest is a veteran of many parties, Mardi Gras parades, etc.

Anybody Remember These? (Meade ETX-60

I bought this new for $40 some years ago, Walmart red tag special. It has go-to motors but the box description was so vague that I couldn't tell if it did this till I got it home and turned it on. It'll track Jupiter for about a half hour before losing it. No finder scope so I made one from a heads-up display made for Daisy BB guns. It gives decent views with the Plossls I already had. Everything fits into the supplied backpack. I think they wanted over $300 for these initially. It is NOT a Maksutov Cassegrain as stated on the scope.

This Harmonica Microphone Cost $80

The seller on Reverb didn't say if it worked or not. It does. Probably my best harp mic.

My 45 Vintage Harp Microphones (Pics + Music)

They all work. I used the first one (brown Turner Challenger) with a Hohner Blues Harp (A) and a Pignose Hog20 amp over the song, which is "I Got My Eyes On You" performed by John Lee Hooker and Al "Blind Owl" Wilson from the album "Hooker 'N Heat." I built and/or painted some of these myself. Vintage is the way to go.

The Sorely Underrated Crate VC-508 5 Watt Tube Amp For Harp

This stock VC-508 was $125, bought another one with solid oak cabinet and lower sounding Jensen speaker for $225. PROS: biggest, meanest sounding 5 watt tube amp (which are alot louder than most would think); also often dirt cheap. CONS: very difficult to dial up the right sound; made by now defunct company with bad reputation; have to tear entire amp apart even to change tubes (speaker accessible from front). PS: cannot guarantee good sound if not used with powerful vintage microphone or Bulletini (am only using one cheap pedal here for volume control and a little delay). You also absolutely must use the semi-secret FX Loop feature, which on this amp requires a TRS cable and splitter.
