I’m thankful for this app.

I unfortunately spent my early 20’s shopping and collecting like crazy and am now left with a shitload of clothes that I don’t wear and takes up space. I know this app isn’t perfect sellers and buyers can be annoying but I’m genuinely so thankful for this app because I’ve made a bit of money like $200 in the past 2-3 weeks since I’ve started. this isn’t much but it still helps me a bit for some gas and food. I didn’t think I would sell anything I thought my shop would flop and I was close to just giving everything away but thankfully I didn’t and am at least getting a few dollars per order. USPS labels are free and the location is right next to my gym so I don’t have to go out of my way and waste gas or anything like that. Anyway this has been a good experience for me and I hope shipping is free for a bit longer.

I just know no one buys this and it’s disgusting

Chamoy and tajin only belong on fruit or anything sweet, not meat. Whoever is coming up with these ideas should get fired.

So I finally got a job

Today was my second day and I worked with a district manager. This is not a high paying job it’s literally food service and obviously I will be struggling since I’m still learning. Well she decided to tell me that if I don’t get better and quicker at working she will fire me after a week. I was like lol you guys actually do that? she said yes that her owner has done it before and how they don’t like “slow people”. ngl I need a job but this sounds ridiculous to me but anyway she then started comparing me to another person that she hired and how that person made flashcards to memorize the foods and what goes with each item. This person is also new like me and in my mind I was like um yeah I’m not doing all of that. I just find it weird how it’s my 2nd day and already being threatened lmao idk if I should take this as a red flag or not. mind you this company doesn’t give any benefits..

Why am I struggling to get hired in Fast Food?

Most of my experience is in fast food and cashiering along with some childcare experience. Over the last 6 ish months I’ve landed about 10 interviews 8 of them for restaurants and they rejected me or never called back, two of them for receptionist jobs that never called back. Mind you these are low paying jobs…One place didn’t even know about the interview that was scheduled because it was set up by a bot on their website. I ended up asking them months later while placing an order at their establishment if they were hiring. They said yes but no. They always say they’re hiring but they’re really not, it’s complicated. I figure it’s just luck to even get a job at McDonalds now. Now I received an email from Panda Express saying they want to interview me next week, hopefully it’s not a bot this time.

Advice for interview

I have a 30min interview on Thursday and I would like some advice. How to dress? What to say and not say? it’s for a kitchen team position.

Need some advice

Im very unemployed right now and gas is $6 where I'm at which is $60 to fill up my tank.I only really drive to places I need to be at. Unfortunately I have an old car (over 20 yrs old) and have a bad feeling about doing Uber Eats full time with it. Mind you I am looking for a job it’s just the horrible job market rn. I guess I would just like some advice on what other people would do
