Better Rubberband Mechanics

I just got into the game about 2 weeks ago, and I’m really enjoying it, but the rubber band needs to be stronger.

For context, rubber band mechanics are bonuses given to whoever is losing, to keep up the tension. Mario Kart famously has the best rubber band, with triple red shells when you’re in back, and a single banana when you’re in front.

This game allows whoever lost the last round to get an extra card draft, which is good. But I still have matches where the final heart count is 4-0 (sometimes I’m 4, sometimes I’m 0). My favorite matches end in 1-0, because of how crazy the board is at that point.

My wish is that the x2 cards and/or the xUp cards are only draftable during that bonus draft, as it gives you a better chance of catching up or beating your opponent next round, and really pushes to end each match in a 1-0 finish.

Next TtRPG?

Watching the Crows Crowdfunder video made me wonder, what is the next TtRPG I would want to see MCDM tackle, if it was entirely up to me?

Draw Steel gets combat, Crows gets exploration, I want to see a social game. Not like a party game, but what is the MCDM version of Good Society? Take that genre of play, put the RtG: Politics series on top, and MCDMs definition of what is cool and fun.

If you could decide the next kind of game for MCDM to make, what would you ask for?

OOPS! All Paladins!

I have an idea for a TtRPG, but I want to see if there’s already something similar. We have games where the players are all thieves, games where they’re all fighters, even games where they’re all wizards.

Is there a fantasy game where every player is a paladin/cleric, some kind of holy warrior, devout to their beliefs, and traveling across the land to do work in the name of their lord?

I’d want a system where you are constantly aware of how much work you’ve done in the name of your god, as well as how much you’ve asked of them, and balancing those two points. Combat should be involved, but doesn’t have to be the main aspect. Maybe a subsystem around the temptation to make dark decisions as it helps you in your righteous goals. A variety in available deities is nice, but not necessary.

Looking for a Running the Game

There’s a specific RtG video I want to find.
After rescuing young Edmund Bedegar from the White Tusk Orcs in the adventure from Strongholds and Followers, Edmund insists that he be addressed as “Sire or My Lord”, which annoys Matt’s player, but they ultimately decide to follow these formal rules from this child, and is rewarded for it.
Any clue which video this is from?
