Wow. This is beautiful. Love the Space Needle with hot air balloons below it and Rainier in the background.
That's about as beautiful as Seattle gets. It just needed a little color.

Took these while piloting a hot air balloon. Excited that the clouds are clearing and we're getting perfect weather again. The mountain is going to be out all week!
It was an amazing event! Thank you to the tens of thousands of people that showed up to see hot air ballooons in front of the Space Needle. That was wild and amazing. Pilots crushed it last night
Thank you to all the amazing people who showed up for this magical experience. The hot air balloon pilots and teams rocked it last night.
I have 73k photos on my phone. Over 20k of them have a hot air balloon in front if Mt Rainier in it.
You may or may not want to tell your kid they can have their favorite stuffed animal fly.
The 7 year old in the picture learned how to sew last year, and then spent the last 3 months designing and sewing his own 20 foot hot air balloon and is planning on taking kids’ stuffed animals up about 20 feet in the air in front of the Space Needle. This is Sunday the 21st around 730pm.
After that, 8 actual hot air balloons are going to be glowing in the dark around 9pm. Pilots are coming from around the state to volunteer because getting to put your balloon next to the Space Needle is one of those things that’s just cool. Once it gets dark pilots fire the burners and the balloons light up from the inside.
It was honestly pretty neat last year. Full disclosure since somebody will click my username anyway: yes I fly hot air balloons, and I’m bringing one of the eight.
Happy to answer balloon questions in the comments specifically about the balloons.
It was a super fun flight!
We flew from Kent to Auburn… over Emerald Downs, 167, and then HWY 18. Anyone get any photos of us or see us flying? Fun flight.
We actually were only about 2300 feet, but a friend of ours got this shot from his farm in Auburn…and we thought we had a good view from the hot air balloon!
