Groceries/provisions

Hey all, heading to the isla verde beach area in a few days. Is there a recommended store to stock up on water/snacks/ alcohol? Just curious if there was ones to avoid due to price gouging etc I get that choices are likely limited

Planning a trip for next April- Oahu and Kauai

My husband and I did Oahu and Maui for our honeymoon and plan to go back for our 5 year. We plan to go to Oahu for a few days since we have been prior and then spend 4-5 days in Kauai. I’m also thinking about signing up for the Honolulu half when I’m there! Looking for any tips for Kauai, where to stay, must do activities, etc.

The entitlement

Like do people not understand how a rewards program works?? It’s based on what you spend. That’s every company with a rewards program. People are mad there’s perks for people who spend more than them? lol

They are full of crap

You don’t take any constructive criticism . You just delete comments and block people. And you absolutely do not know what’s best for your kids, they are exhausted and never get to be kids or have friends

The worst parents

Not only did these two buy their way to the front of the adoption line, twice, but all they do is exploit their kids. Constantly dragging them all over the world to the point of exhaustion, putting them in unsafe situations, and posting them like this. This poor girl is sleeping shirtless and they need to post it? They also constantly have her in a bikini and post those pics too

Tips for 10k time

I’m running a 10k Labor Day weekend and my goal time is sub 55, which will get me a good POT for another race. I’m back and forth on how feasible it is. I ran a 45:45 5 mile and a 2710 5K in the last few months. I’m focusing on speed work, tempo, and a long run plus strength training. I’ll need to run about 8:50 pace, which I’m struggling with for more than 3 miles. Hoping to see some improvements but any tips?

Curious about capacity and start times

So I ran a half back in April and they announced before the start it was almost 10k people - sold out. We started in 8 waves that pretty much ran back to back from 7am- 710am. It was in a city so running through the streets the entire time but the start area was much narrower than Disney but didn’t feel crowded? The start of the race also wasn’t super congested. I’d imagine Disney is about double that capacity, but it’s still crazy to me how it takes an hour to space out the waves? Any idea why when my other race took ten minutes for everyone to start? Does Disney just have a lot of slower paced runners or more congested areas? We were literally going out and back at one point in this race so double runners on both sides of the street and it was never crowded

Your kid isn’t even into Toy Story

Needing to go crazy and buy a bunch of size ups for *when* your kid likes something is insane. 1. How do you know they will actually like it at some point. 2. There’s Toy Story themed stuff everywhere

Where to begin

Hi everyone- new to this forum and topic- apologies if I sound ignorant. I’ve been intrigued with using a glp-1 for the past few months. I have birth a year ago and despite working out constantly, my body has not dropped any weight since January. I’m stuck and I just want to lose the last ten pounds and maintain. My biggest struggle is food noise. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always craved bad food constantly. Diets or even attempts to eat healthy just make me mentally miserable and I cave in a day.
I’m curious about micro dosing a glp-1 but I have no idea where to start. Which brand? I see so many third parties offering them, which one is best or reasonable priced? How do I know which dose to start with? Are supplements any good or is the shot the only real deal? Any advice is helpful

Feedback on which month to travel

Hi everyone! Planning a trip early next year for our anniversary. We plan to go to Kauai and then Oahu for a few days. I know it’s rainy season nov- March, would this potentially limit what we can do in Kauai since we would want to do some of the hikes and boat trips. I get it’s hard to predict. We are also trying to avoid spot break so was thinking about mid April since Easter is early this year. Just looking for feedback for anyone who has gone during these months, thanks!
