Cozy lil drawing

Followed a youtube tutorial called “Oil Pastel Drawing Coffee | How to draw using oil pastel” by Kahel Art Studio :)
Materials were Mungyo Gallery 120 color set and Canson watercolor paper

My favorite painting ever (so far)

Done in Meeden’s 144 color set and A3 watercolor paper! That was a lot of fun, I love trying realistic botanical art :) The orchids were the highlight for me haha

is this good enough for a gift? pls be honest, I’m a bit insecure about it since its not my usual style

I dis this for a very dear professor of mine. She loves Paris, fashion (specifically designer bags, so that’s an attempt on a Hermes haha) and flowers. I feel like the coat is a bit off, but I’m scared of overworking it. Please leave suggestions and advice in the comments!

Tried following a youtube tutorial on how to make watercolor glow (will retry it later)

Youtuber is Beatriz Fedele and the Video is called “The watercolor glow trick that makes this orange look lit”. I found the “glowy” part very hard, specifically since I have a reeeeally hard time blending wet on wet, but her explanations are fantastic!
