Only took me a few days, but it is done. My spooky mani for Saturday’s board game night with some friends. Was a big learning curve do to with acrylics but so fun and rewarding 😍 game box I was matching to is last pic. Dunno if I’ll want to spend multiple days on another mani for a long time but I’m super happy with how this project turned out!

I’ve come up with this very pretty mashup of two polishes that I got lots of compliments on! I’ve been having fun naming my creations, and I was wondering what you would call this one?

This is Mooncat The Silent Scream + BKL Miromabby.

I might call it Strawberries and Scream 😂 🍓

We went to dinner with an old friend of his and his gf, neither of which I have met before.

As we’re chatting, getting to know each other and waiting for food to come, my husband grabs my hand to show them and says “look at how [my name] does her nails!” Then he proceeded to talk about how I got into the hobby this year and have learned all kinds of cool way to do my nails with different colours and techniques. He also tried to explain magnetic polish which he doesn’t really understand but tried so hard. All the while I’m just sitting there looking at him like 😭❤️ I have never felt so supported and celebrated.

I didn’t even have a particularly interesting mani on lol! I had just done my first experimentation with chrome powder, it’s uneven and a little messy, and I left it on to see how long it would last (pictured, surprisingly hard to photograph). It’s just sheer chrome powder buffed into a layer of top coat with some Elmer’s glue mixture and more top coat! But my husband wanted to show me off anyways 🥺

When I told him afterwards how sweet and thoughtful it was of him to do that, he told me that he likes seeing how I light up when I get to talk about my nails and knows it means a lot to me.

Ok why is one of my sim's mood boost for this moodlet constantly increasing?? Her husband is still the usual +20 boost but she's now over 500!? Is this normal? She has the over emotional trait but that multiplier should only apply once afaik!

Hi all, idk who needs to hear this but I had to do a lot of digging in various posts to even come across this piece of advice when I was researching cuticle oil solutions. So I am posting it here loud and clear for everyone to hear!

You can just buy water brush pens like these and fill them up with your fav cuticle oil! I just got mine last week and they have been great. These particular ones come with a cap so I can have one in my bag and not worry about spilling. Super easy to unscrew and just pout oil in (I use pure jojoba oil). After my first fill, I did have to press and squeeze them a lot for the oil to start saturating the bristles and slowly start seeping out, but now that the bristles are oiled it requires very little pressure to get the oil flowing when I'm using them.

I have been enjoying busting it out at work and being able to oil my cuticles after every hand wash and not get it all over my finger tips/leave everything greasy! And also under my nail because of the bristles! Can even cut the bristles a bit shorter if you prefer.
