Yes savage dragon does have a ending. I thought if savage dragons character ended in Issue 168 I would’ve been satisfied. I thought that was the best part of the savage dragon story.
Gotta say sir John owing a pet dragon is pretty badass but, I don’t remember this dragon dying in battle and can the creature disappear every time John doesn’t need him and reappear when is needed??? If so why hasn’t this dragon been used more? What’s his name? Will we ever see it again? So many questions
This was during the Mars attack. Is the main Youngblood team dead like shaft, badrock, and etc? We never see them again except for badrock but that’s in an alternate universe.
That character being savage dragon who died in issue 225. I was hoping that Youngblood, spawn, invincible, or even witchblade would come to his funeral as they have fought by his side to help save the world. Not to mention all the other times savage dragon showed to go to the funerals in the invincible universe. Savage dragon was the 3rd comic that was made in image and has crossed over with so many other superhero’s. Would’ve loved to see a big crossover at dragons funeral so they could pay his respects. Savage dragon ran so other image hero’s could walk.
I don’t know why they haven’t made a compendium for Brit or really a complete collection since Brit has like 15 issues and for Battle beast and capes we just have to wait until it ends.
Savage dragon has appeared 8 times in invincible and 4 other times in invincible spin-offs. Savage dragon is depicted as the uncle that always has your back in invincible so I checked his comic series out and I gotta say this was a pretty easy read for a 90s comic. I read the archives savage dragon comic where everything was black and white but it expands on the savage dragon story. Everything with how savage dragon doesn’t really like superhero to fighting against racism is some pretty interesting stuff. It’s also pretty funny at times.
Did Eric Larson not want to include because he thought it was bad? I know it’s not because of a legal issue because the Wildcats did appear in that ultimate collection vol 2.
Like it didn’t take you a whole volume to get into the series. I’m saying you read the first issue and thought it was so peak that you wanted to read more of it because that first issue was 10/10. For me it was haunt, the darkness 2025, hack/slash, and Dynamo 5
Funny how witchblade was a spin-off of Cyberforce in the beginning but now it’s the opposite. Hope Cyberforce gets a good run. I’ve been loving the darkness comic and the witchblade comic has lowkey kinda been mid.
I thought he was going to appear in issue 4 but NOPE. Instead I got blue balls from thinking that. I thought they were building up to an image crossover with Al glazing the hell out of the image founders and savage dragon putting his had on him. Also why couldn’t we just see savage dragon full body?
So many wasted slots on ass recolors no one was asking for. Give us some people we care about like she-spawn, medieval spawn, haunt, sam, and twitch. I’m only getting 3 of these clown, spawn, and redeemer.
I remember this starting off pretty intresting in the first 3 issues but then i didn’t even know what was happening for the rest. I think this series got canceled because a lot of things got left unanswered. I still want TPB of this short lived series.
I thought the first 6 issues of this new Shadowhawk were good. Son working with his father kinda like tech jacket working with his father. Blacklighting was cool and the new villains were also pretty entertaining. But then the book became worse and the art became so shit but that Shadowhawk oneshot was pretty dope
Bomb queen has a total of 38 issues with each of them getting their own TPB and omnibus while Shadowhawk (Eddie Collin’s) has a total of 16 issues. And has No TPB’s, no omnibus, or even a complete collection. Even if I add the team books Shadowhawk was included in he still wouldn’t have more issues than bomb queen.

These should be everything collected in a Shadowhawk compendium in that reading order. I think that Shadowhawk is a pretty underrated gem in Image Comics. Great story, I thought, about a violent vigilante. If a compendium about Shadowhawk ever happens, I hope they change some of the dialogue about the HIV and AIDS shit—make it a fictional virus.
There is more media with Paul Johnstone’s ShadowHawk, like the Vampirella/ShadowHawk crossover and when he was in five issues of Brigade; however, that isn’t really needed reading to understand ShadowHawk’s character.
I actually hope we get to see this design be reused in spawn comics as another haunt antagonist to give more lore on the haunts. Haunts first design does actually work for a villain design against Daniel Kilgore.
I really enjoyed this min-series and wished it kept going. Don’t understand the hate it gets. The plots were intresting and my favorite issues are with mighty man and velocity. Would’ve loved to see badrock crossover with Gen 13 or the deadly duo.
Hopefully this does happen. Also I hope we get more image comic figures in the future. All the Rob lifeld characters should be made by looseCollector. I really want a supreme and vogue figure. Any image founding image comic character you want?
