Do I need to create a new USPS account for informed delivery for the new place?

Leaving Denver tomorrow and not sure how to dispose off mattress. My apartment community does not allow dumping large items in trash.
I don't want to spend $$ for dumping a mattress that I am already losing $$$ on. Any idea??
