Don't know what to do

I'm a single guy, both my parents have passed away, and there isn't really a suitable match among my relatives. My circle isn't such that I know any Muslim girls either. Since dating is haram in Islam, I honestly have no idea how I'm supposed to approach someone with the intention of marriage. I'm genuinely confused.

Looking for marriage

I'm from India and I'm looking to get married. Sadly, both of my parents have passed away. I have very few relatives, and although they're trying their best to help me find a suitable match, we haven't been able to find the right one yet.

My current social circle doesn't include any women, and I don't really have anyone else who can introduce me to a potential partner. I'm genuinely looking for a serious, long-term relationship that leads to marriage. I'd really appreciate any genuine suggestions or introductions.

Muslim marriage app

I've been on Muslim dating apps for a long time, and honestly, the experience has been disappointing. Many people have become extremely judgmental because they've accepted cultural opinions as if they were part of Islam.

The Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) clearly prohibit things such as alcohol, gambling, adultery (zina), and usury (riba). Yet many people keep adding their own lists of what they consider "haram" and judge others based on those personal views.

What confuses me is that Islam teaches us to forgive people's shortcomings, avoid judging others, and show mercy. If someone sincerely believes in Allah, cares for their family, helps others, treats neighbours with kindness, speaks respectfully, and has compassion for people, isn't that also part of Islam?

I work in music and art, and despite trying to live by these values, I'm often rejected simply because of my profession. People judge my work instead of my character, and that's deeply discouraging.
