Pirates of the Caribbean 6 script written by Ted Elliott and Craig Mazin in 2020 and 2023 is supposedly to be weird, the movie will be a sequel of Dead Men Tell No Tales, Joachim Rønning will direct the movie again and Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman will be again as the producers. Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will be a direct sequel of Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell No Tales and not will be a complete reboot like was original structured in 2018/2019 when Deadpool writes, Rhett Reese e Paul Warwick were hired to pen the reboot but renounced on the project for Deadpool and Wolverine, the project was delayed to many factors: covid 19 pandemic in 2020-2022, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard legal fight with defamation trial in 2022, Hollywood screenwriters streak in 2023. In 2017, Kaya Scodelario confirmed that she firmed a contract for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 when she accepted to filming Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

In 2018, Keira Knightley confirmed that she didn't want to return as Elizabeth Swann in anyone Pirates of the Caribbean future films. On 20 april 2022, John nny Depp said during his defamation trial against Amber Heard that he will never return in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 citing his strained relationship with Disney after they had removed him from the franchise before a verdict was reached in the case.

In February 2023, Orlando Bloom confirmed his interest to return as Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean 6, in March 2023, Keira Knightley confirmed that she didn't want to return as Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean 6, this while Jerry Bruckheimer was interested to bring back Johnny Depp in the franchise as Captain Jack Sparrow. In August 2023, Craig Mazin confirmed that his script for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 was pitched to Disnney with Ted Elliott but was considering being too weird but the 2023 Hollywood screenwriters strike had slowed development of Pirates of the Caribbean 6.

On 20 May 2024, Jerry Bruckheimer in an interview with Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Jeff Nathanson was working on the screenplay while Ted Elliott was now busy to writing and working on National Treasure 3 and that two different Pirates of the Caribbean 6 movies were in development, the Jeff Nathanson version that will be a continuation story of Dead Men Tell No Tales and Pirates of the Caribbean 7 movie spin off written by Christina Hodson with Margot Robbie's character Redd Redhead.

In August 2025, Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that he want bring back Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 depend if he like the script.

In September 2025. In February 2026, Disney hired Krysty Wilson Cairns (1917) to rewriting Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and Jeff Snyder rumored that the movie will features Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in a supporting role with the protagonists role will be playing by his son that he had in the past with Margot Robbie's character Redd Redhead. Few days later Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that Margot Robbie will be in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 implying that Christina Hodson and Jeff Nathanson's two different version of Pirates of the Caribbean 6 were incorporated in Krysty Wilson Cairns's script but debunked the rumors of Jack Sparrow's son.

If Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will be made, I bet that will be realesed on 25 May 2029 with Joachim Rønning as a director and Krysty Wilson Cairns as the screenwriter with a story written by Ted Elliott and Craig Mazin, based on Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, based on the characters created by Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Stuart Beattie and Jay Wolpert and Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman returning ad producers for Disney Pictures.

3. Orlando Bloom: Will Turner.

8. Brenton Thwaites: Henry Turner,

9. Golshifteh Farahani: Shansa,

10. Penélope Cruz: Angelica Teach,

11. Lee Arenberg: Pintel,

12. Martin Klebba: Marty,

13. Giles New: Murtogg,

14. Angus Barnett: Mullroy,

15. Stephen Graham: Scrum,

16. Adam Brown: Cremble,

17. Keith Richards in un cameo di Teague Sparrow,

18. Danny Kirrane: Bollard,

19. Delroy Atkinson: Pike,

20. Reggie Lee: Hadras,
