If you don't want to seem condescending to us stop telling us to be patient and wait for our lien holdbacks to be processed. When that is all the information we get for our money and our suffering! When you have already been paid for our lien holdbacks 7-8 months ago, it's really easy to just say be patient! You are not patient you already got paid! But from STAC, to the trust, and all lawyers representing us, you are getting paid first, a in some cases way too much, for having your interns do just basic paperwork, with hardly any of you ever having to litigate, or step foot in a courtroom! You are not patient about getting your money! So stop being a bunch of condescending hypocrites and do your frickin job like you are not getting paid to take longer to do it instead of what you like to say in public what heroes, and hardworking, boyscout saving people you are!

Thank you all participating lawyers for being so helpful, honest, and forthcoming!

But I foresee more stalling, fees, and justifications in our future! Just like in the past 3 years!

STAC, scouting settlement trust, law firms representing us, go together like peas and carrots 🥕!

If the money was put in escrow for us, then it seems reasonable that it's our money that has collected interest and belongs to us. What kind of math are they doing? What line of reasoning says it doesn't belong to us?

I can't fight a progress update from the trust since April?

How about you put our names in a computer that can print out checks and hit enter... like every other business in the world

Lawyers know this because they have $ in there hands and leave us looking for the bush in the Sahara desert!Telling us if you keep going, and believe patient you might find something!

Lawyers would also like to have us believe that if the situation was reversed and we were owing them a large sum of money, there would be absolutely no deadlines to pay them, not late fees, no interest on it, and they wouldn't send a nasty letter to the credit companies and totally ruin our credit!

I'm wondering how many other people who get different types and kinds of law suit settlements have to go through lien searches. If not why are we different? Furthermore if they do have to go through this same process , does it take this long? I Fucking doubt it!

Can everyone show how long we've all been waiting for our lien holdbacks to be processed in day and months, just to show anyone who doesn't know how many of us, and how long it's taking for the sake of public records? Option A 173 days as of 08/29/2026 Thanks

This money could be a very positive thing for us. But considering that it is probably going to be a long time before we get our share of it, I've decided to put this on the back burner of my mind and see how well I can possibly do before that happens. I'm 53 and I'm not sure listening to the promises of all these lawyers have help me get ahead. They will never understand what we are needing, feeling, or even what we have to say. Because it doesn't effect thier lives in the same way. So I'm going to challenge myself to get as far without the money until it comes, and when it does it will hopefully just be a bonus!

First it was up to 45 days, then 60- 90 days, now 160- 180 days. Could any other business, organization, entity, or whatever get away with treating the people they are claiming to help, or service, this type of way st all?
