Bought it in Japan, 100s on tests get a Moomin stamp🦛(I know they’re not hippos)

I just thought this was appropriate content for this subreddit. This is how they were marketing records back in the day I guess.

Never heard this album but it’s Brian Eno so I’m sure it’ll be fun to wind down and listen to on this beautiful Sunday evening. Cheers ambient heads.

Edit (about 5 hours after posting): Okay I’m editing this post for one simple reason, as I was reading the Wikipedia page I realized one amazing detail, me and Brian Eno share the same birthday!!! Now I’m locked in as a fan for sure. What a coincidence, knew there was a reason I was buying all his CDs🥹🥹

Hello experts and nerds of Reddit,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix the record function on my Denon DRM-555 tape deck? About a year ago I was able to record onto it but now it has ceased to work.

It will begin recording or go into recording mode and then abruptly stop after about 5 seconds as you can see in the video.

I have very minimal experience fixing stuff like this so if it can’t be done easily I will just have to live without being able to record onto it, but it seems like such a shame.

The cassette deck works great otherwise for music playback and I bought it in unused condition.

I bought this album on a whim, it was the only Brian Eno at the record shop. I’m excited to hear the bonus tracks. Has anyone here listened to it?
