Am I wrong for disallowing AI in my campaign wiki?

So I've set up a wiki for my campaign and while I write most of the articels as the DM, players can write articles about their characters and related stuff too. However, I said AI-generated images and text are not allowed.

I am not using AI, I spend a lot of time doing everything myself - using Inkarnate for maps, Heroforge for character art and conventional software for other stuff.

So I wasn't happy with the thought of AI content finding its way into the campaign wiki.

However, at least one player was annoyed by the AI ban. Who's right here? Would you disallow AI too?

(I am fine with players using AI to create character art, it's better than no visuals at all, so it's not like AI is banned entirely).

Mod for snow-white skin? And CCEE issues - hair won't stay black...

White guy is a snow elf/half dragon, black-haired guy is a snow elf. I'd like both of them to have snow-white skin, but all the skin color mods I've found still have that flesh/pink hue. This is especially noticeable when the white guy has his dragon (actually demonic wings from one of the Aasimar/Solar mods) wings out, which use the skin color.

------------

Also, I'm using KAVT x Tatto Markup and Scar Extender and the included CCEE mod is glitching a lot:

* When I open the mirror with the black-haired character who was created using the Custom Companion mod, his hair turns white no matter what hair color is set in the character creator - but I have set no hair color in CCEE.

* In cutscenes, both the glowing eyes on the white guy (EotB) and the glowing tattoos on the black guy return to their default settings, but outside of cutscenes they look as they should.

How to solve these issues?

Krafla, bringer of fire - archdruid of volcanos.

Clad in charcoal-black armor, the elf calling herself Krafla speaks words in an ancient, primal language - and earth quakes, then splits apart as lava fountains rise, as lava flows scorch the land, consuming what should not be, shaping the world anew.

When one thinks of fire druids, the circle of wildfire comes to mind. but the circle lead by Krafla has made it their task to harness something much more powerful than mere wildfires - the fire of volcanoes. And as it appears, they have succeeded...

Fighting in the name of industrial revolution: The Oath of Steam paladin.

In my homebrew setting, there's a highly industrialized nation of high elves - and of course they have paladins dedicated to guarding their mighty machines, paladins who spread the word of the new age of steam, paladins who fight off the pesky druids trying to stop the destruction and pollution of the environment.

These Oath of Steam paladins are able to use the power of steam for themselves to empower their strikes and to keep on fighting just like never-tiring machines. (Oath of Steam is a homebrew subclass I made, I can share it if you want!).

Need help - Solar Player Race, KAVT and Eyes of the Beholder?

All I want is for my character to be:

However, I can't get all of that working together, no matter how hard I try.

First of all, the glowing body tattoo works on all races except the solar no matter the body type. I know there are other wing mods, but they do not come with the Solar's flying animations.

Second, I can't get the tattoos and Eyes of the Beholder working together:

  • If I use the *regular* KAVT mod and Eyes of the Beholder together (with the EotB patch for Unique Tav), the glowing face tattoo disappears, but the body tattoo is still there and I get the glowing eyes from EotB.
  • If I use KAVT - Kazstra's Virtual Tav x Tattoo Makeup and Scar Extender instead of the regular KAVT and Eyes of the Beholder together, the glowing tattoos disappear entirely, from both body and face.

The screenshots show my load order as it should be, but as I said I have to remove EotB to see the tattoos and the Solar does not get any tattoos at all.

Can anyone help me?

My tav needs wings - Solar race mod and KAVT tattoos?

I want my storm-themed Tav to have wings. So far, the Solar Player Race mod seemed to have the best/most thorough flying animations, including allowing the character to use flying animations in the overworld. However, it seems like it is not compatible with KAVT, which I use for this character - the glowing lightning tattoo is missing on the Solar, while it works for all vanilla races.

Are there other good wings/flying animation mods or is there a way to use tattoos that require KAVT with the Solar Player Race mod?

Eyes of the Beholder and KVAT - face tattoo disappears?

I'm using the glowing lightning body and face tattoos from Tempest and Terror with KVAT. So far, they work fine. However, when I add Eyes of the Beeholder to give my guy glowing eyes to match the glowing lightning, the face tattoo disappears.

What's the issue, why does that happen?

Should I get UTav or KAVT or not?

So far I've been pretty satisfied with my Tav, but I haven't used either UTav nor KAVT. Just some modded faces, hairstyles/bangs and Rogue Tattoo.

Is getting UTav or KAVT really worth it? It seems like I'd need to get patches/alternative versions for *a lot* of my visual mods - so I am curious, what do you think?

First time playing around with photo mode - love it!

I knew photomode was there since it got released, but I finally tried it out for myself and love it so far. Took these character shots in the goblin camp/abandoned Selune temple in Act 1, on the tower in the camp right after finishing Act 2 and in the Astral Prism.

Mods used for my characters are the following:

  • Myky's heads and Myky's hairstyles
  • the outfits Zeus, Umbral Predator and Guardian of the Winter Forest from badwitch69
  • Basket of Equipment (pauldrons)
  • Rogue Tattoo with Mystical Corvids
  • Vestments of Unyielding Radiance (dye, shield, sword)

The paladin and his favourite cleric: Ardurion and Cyron. Happy Pride Month! #TheFaeAgenda

The tavern we celebrate at most likely needs someone to stand guard, to protect the party guests :-) Here's my submission for the #TheFaeAgenda contest, two of my former D&D player characters who I thought would fit really well together. Happy pride month, fellow forgers!

Link: https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D58437869/

Cyron, a high elven cleric, grew up as the son of an aristocratic family devoted to Selune. He always got everything he wanted, for money was not an issue in his castle. Well, there was one thing he did not get : He always wanted to go out on an adventure, he wanted to fight the evil beings that caused the injuries he had to heal at the temple - not for the money, but to rid the world of them. Cyron wasn't tall, he wasn't strong, but he had a heart of gold and great dreams.

Ardurion, a Shadar-Kai, grew up on the Shadowfell, raised as a warrior of the Raven Queen. Adventuring and fighting was what he lived for - initially, he had nothing but his blade and his ragged armor, he had to fight for every coin. But when his adventures brought him to the material plane, he started to doubht his faith, his beliefs. He grew up in a dark, shadowy world where there was only grief and despair. Now he was in a colorful, lively world full of joy with kind and welcoming people almost everywhere. Long story short, he eventually abandoned his oath and set on a new path - as a paladin of Selune. The elf who was born from the shadows was fighting the monsters of the night, he brought light into the dark - he fought what once felt homely to him.

And then the day came when Ardurion went to the temple Cyron served at, to do his prayers and to look for allies for his adventuring party to take down a dangerous monster. The high elf saw the opportunity as the high priest was distracted with his rituals. mand joined him. And so, Cyron's first adventure started - and they soon started to bond. Cyron looked up to the tall and strong Ardurion and told him of his dream of becoming a fighter like him. But the truth was, he was needed not as a warrior, but exactly as he was - a cleric, someone able to protect and heal the party, somene able to ward them from vile curses, diseases and evil spirits.

Cyron and Ardurion started to grew closer, Ardurion the one who does the fighting and Cyron the one who keeps him in the fight with his wards and spells. Feelings between them become stronger, a cure wounds became more than just some quick healing magic. And under the full moon's silvery light, they confessed to each other...

(repost because of some changes in details, had to redo it partially as Heroforge did not save the finished mini at first...).

Minas Tirith: Missing big piece in bag 13

My bag 13 is missing the 12x2 plate. It's simply not there.

No big issue, I'll replace it with one of my own, but I haven't seen such a big piece missing in a Lego set so far.

Have you encountered a missing piece so far?

[Oathbreaker contest] Elrik, the Red Demon of Khardaron

Here's my submission for the Oathbreaker Paladin contest.

Elrik was one of the best warriors in the small desert kingdom of Khardaron. He had sworn to protect it and its king with his life. And so he did, for year after year. Conflicts came and went, but he stood strong. The battlefield was his home, he lived for the glory, for the fhrill of a good fight.

Everything changed, however, when he started having dreams. Dreams of an entity that promised him power. Much more power than he could have ever imagined. These dreams started when an unknown person gifted him a mysterious enchanted sword.

And when the volcano in the south had its catastrophic eruption that sent heavy ashfall and blotted out the sun all the way up to Khardaron, he took the opportunity - within the chaos, the tumult, a swift strike with his blade brought an end to the king he used to protect so fiercefully. And the throne was now his.

The king was not the only one to fall to his blade this day, for he needed to defend himself from those who wanted the rightful heir to claim the throne. But people learned quickly to better obey his word if they wanted to live. He became a tyrant, ruling with an iron fist, and a warmonger. Under his command, Khardaron expanded quickly in all directions -they conquered neighbouring kingdoms one after another, and continue their campaigns to this day, now planning to march into the far bigger nations outside of the desert.

One might think Elrik "just" wants to expand his kingdom - but there is more to his behaviour. Whenever he slays an enemy with his enchanted blade, the entity that promised him power in the first place devours its soul. And with each soul, it gets stronger, its influence over the world increases... with each soul, the Dark Flame gains power and the Sacred Flame fades. And the Dark Flame grants Elrik a little bit of its power in exchange for him collecting souls.

Zephyros, the Lord of Thunder. A storm deity in my homebrew setting.

Zephyros used to be a player character of mine, an aasimar storm sorcerer/tempest cleric. He was the first character I reached level 20 with, and his campaign ended with his ascension to godhood.

Now that I am creating my own setting for an upcoming D&D campaign, I decided to use him as one of the 12 main deities. The Storm Herald's domains are storms, strength/athletes, war and freedom. He serves as the patron deity of many athletic competitions as well as being worshipped in secret by people suffering under a tyrant's regime who yearn for freedom.

Minas Tirith release in retail?

I am planning to get Minas Tirith in my local Lego store with the GWP. I've read that members of the Insider program can order it June 1st online, others have to wait a few days longer. But what about physical retail, when will it release there?

After the steampunk elves of Artangor entered with their full squad, it's now time for my solo champion: Falathiel, she who dances with the waves. A sea elf Echo Knight fighter/barbarian. She'll compete in the two-man skirmish, alone. WIth only only the sea on her side.

She will refuse a partner, for the one she was supposed to fight with no longer lives - she does not want anyone else to take his place at her side. But she can summon his spirit from the depths, as a vague spectral image appearing in the midst of swirling water - thus there are in fact two fighters for the two-man skirmish.

Backstory

Falathiel used to be a pirate - with her ship, the Angovari (Quenya for "Dragon Queen") she used to terrorize the seas, she and her crew raided many ships and gathered a respectable treasure hoard. And the sea always was with them and her family was proud of her.

When she was asked what her greatest treasure was, she did not know the answer, for she had too many items in her hoard that seemed important. Everything came to an end on that one fateful day the merchant ship they attacked turned out to be a disguised military vessel. The result was tragic - most of Falathiel's crew perished, with Falathiel herself able to save herself by jumping into the sea and hiding in the depths where no human could reach them. It was not the first time Falathiel had lost crewmates - life as a pirate is dangerous - but she had never seen so many of them die, and this time she had lost someone very close to her - the marriage was planned for next week.

When she returned, she saw her ship, the Angovari was still there. She should have sunk, the humans had scuttled her - but saved by the sea, she gently beached instead. Her hold and her cabins were empty. The chests, the gold coins, the treasure maps, everthing was gone.

While she mourned her fallen comrades and thought of past journeys and raids, she started doubting her life as a pirate - was the treasure she gathered really worth all these lifes that were ended way too early? What is gold actually good for? It did not do anything for her except cuasing issues.

Over the following years she changed her life dramatically. Gone were the days of pirating. She left her family behind, repaired her ship and continued sailing the seas - but now the Angovari earned her money and reputation the honest way. She transported cargo and people from port to port, Falathiel became a captain for hire, a well-repected one at that. Travelers say they feel safe on her ship, as a fierce warrior like her is able to defend them from the very people she once was one of - pirates.

After all these years though, there is still that second bed in her cabin. A bed that was never used and will never be used, for it was reserved for her fiance - he was supposed to move into the captain's cabin following the marriage - but he never made it... Even though she is no longer a pirate, he lives on in her heart.

And when a little child, amazed by her stories from her time as a pirate, asked what her greatest treasure was, she knew exactly what it was: her ship, the Angovari. It was the ship that allowed her to sail to distant lands, to discover new islands, to travel the world and meet new people. It was the ship that brought her and her fiance together. And now she joins the tournament as an honest warrior of the sea, as the chosen one of the sea-elven community she joined after ending her career as a pirate.

Just remade an old character of mine, a sea elf ancestral guardian barbarian/fighter pirate, whose guardian spirits were her crewmates who died when her ship, the Angovari (Dragon Queen) sank and she was the sole survivor.
