I put new tires and a winch on my '05 2500

My previous tires were 315/75's on stock 16" wheels. I had a tire go bad in a po-dunk little town and realized I really should go with at least 17" wheels since the 16's are getting harder to find. So I with 35X12.5 on 17's. Then I decided to get a winch too. I installed a Badland 12,500 lb winch with a Rough Country under-bumper mount that is designed for the 1500 series. It worked with some more hole drilling. It was a bit of a hassle since the mounts for my MOVE bumper covered the pre-existing holes. Working by myself I finished everything in about 8 hours. Sounds like a long time, but since I'm 69 years old and took my time, I'm satisfied. Oh, and it works well too!.

Random Regarded Monkey Investment Technique

At 10:16 this morning (7:16 for me) I went to the daily movers on Robinhood and picked 5 of the top percentage movers, (ENHA, INDP, VELO, S P C E). I put $500 on each one. I thought it might turn out better than my former techniques. I sold 4 of the 5 at different times during the day and showed a profit of $137.30 for a 6.8% return. I am holding on the 5th stock hoping for it to go up. It probably will not.

So it looks to me that an armorer started a very early C96 that had very few serial numbers on it, and for some reason added grips, a new hammer and a new top receiver. Maybe. I'm going to disassemble it more and see what other serial numbers I can find. So far, the serial number of "18" on the receiver and barrel is very interesting.

Bought a C96 Last Week. Serial #18. Is it considered an antique?

I thought guns made before 1898 are considered antiques and do not have to be transferred through an FFL. My C96 Frankenmauser's serial number on the frame and barrel is 18, the grips have different serial numbers, as well as the hammer and under the sight ramp.

Since the ATF considers the receiver to be the "gun", then does my C96, made in 1896, fall in the "antique" category like a Martini-Henry or a percussion cap pistol?

I came across a decent looking C96 and bought without much inspection (the price was so low that I just snatched it up). Upon closer inspection when I get it home I see that it does not have matching serial numbers. It functions very well, though. It came with 85 rods of ammo and one stripper clip. More pics in the comments.
