NFL pass

Very disappointed.

I live in Europe and have been slowly getting interest in NFL for the last 5 years. I've been watching way more games last season with a local sport provider channel but without the option to choose which game to watch.

For this season, for the first time, I was ready to jump for a league pass.

The US tag price is somehow 50$ annually, but in Europe, the NFL & DAZN expect ME to pay 250$ annually to watch the season??? I don't know who's responsible of this strategy but it's the worst idea possible to get NFL in European TV.

Canceled Okinawa

Because of Bavi Typhoon, we’re coming back from Okinawa Ishigaki to Osaka tomorrow after only 24 hours in the island. Our flight back was supposed to be on Monday, with an internal flight within islands on Saturday, that is going to be canceled.

As you can imagine, we’re very sad. We will arrived 5 days in advance to Osaka, where we have plan to spend few days for the city and a 7 days road trip between Gyokuzoin, Uji, Kyoto suburb, Kunisaki Onsen, Himeji…
If you have any good recommendations ont how to spend those unplanned 5 days, we would appreciate it.

Thank you.

We deserve to be 0-2

If Pop was still coaching, he would have lost his mind.

I’ll start with the positives. There are only two things I liked in those two games: Harper, and Fox’s look on Brunson in this Q4.

Then I'm pointing out 2 things we need to change ASAP.

  • Mitch's capacity to impact positively the game. I’m not sure what’s going on in his head, but he needs to wake the hell up. His attitude is completely off. As a result, he's making some of the worst possible decisions.
    • Killing the momentum in Q4 right after the Fox look on Brunson
    • Calling for Wemby long contested jumper two times (35 sec. mark and end of Q4) that has never worked this year
    • Not calling for a TO when we get the ball back, tie game, 9 seconds left (again)
    • Not making clear who should takes responsibility for the ball when you have 3 guards on the floor
    • Calling a timeout after the final missed Knick's FT, when Kornet has the ball and 3 Knicks are on the floor
  • The players motivation or passivity. Except Harper, and maybe Kornet and Bryant, why the players are not fired-up? Seriously, we're playing home, and on 2×48 minutes, we were mentally engaged and fired for only the last 6 minutes of G2. Wemby is dunking on people and not even smiling anymore. We’re making soft, lazy passes. We’re just spectators of our own game. Not enjoying the moment.

GO SPURS GO.

Tokyo best experience spots

Hi there,

I'm coming back to Tokyo this summer. I lived there for a year 15+ years ago and went there again with my wife 2 years ago.
I'm looking for recommendations on best experience / activities to do. That could be bar, music, museum, walking, sport, restaurant, etc. I'm looking for the unusual and yet very Japanese.
What are your favorites?

For instance, below some of the activities we did and loved last time:
- Meikyoku Kissa Lion: a jazz & classical bar in a 100yo building
- TeamLab Planets: kind of a museum with great visual effects & artworks
- Audio Union shop: second hand shop for high-end hi-fi, where you can sit and listen to music for hours
- Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club: Onsen with great view from Odaiba - best at night
- Oslo Batting Center: to hit the baseball
