Are my temples balding from hijab?

Been wearing the hijab for ~4 years with a bun. Worried I've got traction alopecia or something since it's insanely common.

Morality of shaving off customer's hair in return for her not paying the $3,500 bill?

For context, this woman ran up an unpaid bill of roughly 60,000 Thai Baht ($2,500 USD, $3,500 CAD) at a bar in Bangkok after ordering expensive drinks + hiring male hosts. When she couldn't afford to pay the large sum (average monthly salary in Thailand is apx. 15,000 Baht,) her mother offered to pay the debt in installments which the nightclub manager rejected.

The manager instead forced the woman (allegedly shoving and pressured her) to sign a contract to sell her hair to pay the debt. He then shaved her head bald, and said that it canceled the 60,000 Baht bill.
➡️ Also, host bars have a commission system. When someone runs up a massive bill and skips it, the individual hosts who served her and the manager have to cover those unpaid drinks and lost wages out of their own personal pockets to the venue owner.

➡️ Side note: This was her third time pulling the same stunt, having accumulated over 100,000 Baht in unpaid tabs across multiple other bars using a fake ID.
After backlash, bar management offered money to settle the civil part (personal damages and emotional distress) of the conflict.
No, she is not going to jail as she is 18, and yes, her family did press charges against the bar. But it is still under investigation, so anything might happen.

(Posted her actual buzz cut in the comments btw; it was not just shoulder length)

What's the best piece of advice another woman has given you?

For me it was to never quit your job just because a man says he'll take care of you.

Whether it's a boyfriend, husband, whatever: always have your own income, your own savings, and know how to support yourself. Hopefully you'll never need the backup plan, but if you do, you'll be grateful you have it.

What about you guys?

What's one life hack every girl should know?

I'll go first: Cornstarch works pretty well as a last minute dry shampoo if your roots are greasy, and I've also used a tiny amount as a substitute for setting powder when I ran out. I sometimes use baby powder instead, though.

What's yours?

How can people just automatically tell which is right and left?

Also how some people still instinctively can't without using the L fingers.

edit: Bro, guys, I know my left and rights immediately. I'm asking how some grown-ups still can't tell, yet there are young kids who can tell automatically.

BTW I AM ASKING ABOUT PEOPLE WITHOUT DYSLEXIA, ETC.

Odyssey Magazine Cover 🦚🌺

It was too late for me to change her head size, and I also don’t have Canva pro and put all the makeup on her face one by one, so I couldn’t do anything about the stickers overlapping onto her hair 💔 but other than that, I think it turned out pretty good. What do you guys think?

It was too late for me to edit the scale size to make her neck fading, and I also don’t have Canva pro and put all the makeup onto her face one by one, so I couldn’t do anything about the stickers overlapping onto her hair 💔 but other than that, I think it turned out pretty good. Unfortunately, I did not get the brat items because I was too petty and busy hating on DTI. Anyone else?
