I am from chennai and I passed this fmge june 2026 with 185 marks im thinkinh of applying intership in andhra pradesh , telangana , Karnataka or Maharashtra because im familiar with the local languages in these states
I dont wanna do in tamilnadu because they take alot of time so i dont wanna waste anymore time because this was my 3rd attempt
So it would be great if i can get ur help guys!!!!
Since im gonna be a non domicile to these states , what are the chances that u get the internship and what are the procedures ?

I am an FMG from Russia and recently cleared the June 2026 FMGE with 185 marks.

My home state is Tamil Nadu (Chennai), but I am really keen on pursuing my CRMI/internship in Maharashtra—preferably in Mumbai or Pune. Language isn't a barrier for me at all as I am completely fluent in both Hindi and Marathi.

Given that I am a non-domicile candidate for Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC), I wanted to get an honest reality check from those who have been through this process recently or know how MMC seat distribution works:

1. How realistic are my chances for Mumbai/Pune?
   While 185 is a decent score, I know MMC prepares separate merit lists for Domicile vs. Non-Domicile candidates, and local candidates usually get priority for tier-1 cities like Mumbai and Pune.

2. Where do non-domicile FMGs usually end up in MH?
   If Mumbai/Pune seats fill up fast, do non-domicile candidates generally get pushed toward GMCs/hospitals in periphery districts (e.g., Solapur, Dhule, Jalgaon, etc.)?

3. Should I register for TN Medical Council instead?
   Since TN is my home state, would I be better off completing it in Tamil Nadu rather than taking a risk with MMC allocation for non-domiciles?

This is my 2nd FMGE attempt. Last time I was doing self-preparation and honestly didn’t prepare well, so my performance was poor.

This time I joined Arise Online. I’m confused about Microbiology — should I do Salman Sir’s classes from Arise (scheduled for 4 days), or should I stick to Dr. Preeti Sharma ma’am’s LRR videos on YouTube?

Last attempt, I did Preeti ma’am’s LRR and in the exam I could recall many questions directly from it. So I’m wondering if I should save those 4 days and use them for other subjects instead.

Would really appreciate suggestions from people who’ve already given FMGE/recently passed.
