I do not hold any Amex Card yet, however I would like to have like to hold the MRCC. Since MRCC is directly not available, I have heard vaguely of some downgrade method through Plat Reserve.
I would appreciate if someone could please explain me the process in detail, of what needs to be done immediately after applying for Plat Reserve.
I also have a few questions:
For the first year, will I be charged the joining fee for Plat Reserve or joining fee for MRCC or both?
Will I be getting welcome benefits of Plat Reserve or welcome benefits of MRCC, or is there a possibility to make a choice somehow ?
Plat Reserve also provides some Accor Explorer + and Taj Epicure memberships, is there any possibility to get and keep those memberships ?
How do the timelines of these downgrade strategy look like starting from applying Plat Reserve ?
Also I read somewhere that MRCC upgrade link is better than asking it through customer support, so can you provide the link too ?
My HSBC card is linked to the billing of Claude Pro subscription of an account, which I am not able to access, in order to cancel it. Recurring transaction is activated with this monthly subscription. The merchant has my card details saved through it which charges my card monthly without any approval or authentication. I checked in MandateHQ site using my card details, its showing all other e-mandates except this one. I am not able to cancel this recurring subscription anyhow. Can anyone with similar situation tell me if I choose to replace my HSBC Credit Card, the card details will change, so will that stop this recurring transaction ?
