Can You Safely Live With a Cat During Pregnancy?

I always heard that if you're pregnant, you should stay away from cats, but after looking into it a bit more, it seems like the main concern is cleaning the litter box rather than having a cat in the house.

For those who've gone through pregnancy with a ragdoll, how did you handle it? Did someone else take over litter duty, or were there other precautions your doctor or vet recommended? I'm curious to hear what actually worked for you.

Is an AirTag Actually Enough to Track a Cat?

I’ve seen a lot of people putting AirTags on their cats lately and I’m honestly curious if they’re actually reliable once a cat starts roaming far from home. I know cheaper than GPS trackers, but do they work well enough if your cat gets out or goes missing for a few hours? Feels like they work great in theory until the cat ends up somewhere with almost no iPhones. Anyone here actually test one out for the long haul?

What are the smartest spring cleaning shortcuts that actually make a difference when you’ve got cats at home?

I have been trying to figure out what spring cleaning shortcuts really make a difference when you have cats. No matter how much cleaning you do, they always seem to return right back overnight. Fur, litter tracking and smells. Mainly I'm looking for realistic strategies or systems to help keep things manageable long-term vs. conducting one huge deep clean. What did other cat owners think was really worth the trouble?

I used to think grooming was something you only really worry about when your cat starts looking obviously unkempt, but with senior cats it seems like it’s better to stay ahead of it. Once they slow down a bit or stop reaching certain spots as easily, that’s usually when I started stepping in more.

For mine, it wasn’t like a sudden switch, just little things like more shedding, a few tangles, or them not cleaning as thoroughly as they used to. That’s kind of when I figured regular brushing wasn’t just extra, it actually helped them stay comfortable and avoid bigger issues later on.
