I recently received admission to the M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

I'm a bit confused about the correct order of steps for the enrolment process.

Should I first open my blocked account and transfer the required funds, and then obtain German health insurance (for example, through TK via Expatrio) and ask the health insurance company to send the electronic confirmation (M10) to BTU? Or should I complete the health insurance step before opening the blocked account?

If anyone has recently enrolled at BTU or gone through this process, I'd really appreciate your guidance.

I recently received admission to the M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg for the Winter Semester 2026/27, and I'm currently completing my enrolment.

I have a question about health insurance. Can I directly purchase the Expatrio Value Package with TK health insurance (including the travel insurance) before my visa application and enrolment?

Will this be accepted by BTU for the health insurance requirement, where TK sends the electronic insurance confirmation (M10) to the university? Or do I need to follow a different process?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who enrolled at BTU or used Expatrio + TK.

I have received an offer from BTU Cottbus for Msc in AI. I am confused with the further steps after accepting the offer. May I know if anybody could help me out with that?

Also I haven't received my degree certificate yet, should I upload my course completion certificate and pay the semester fees?

After that can I book my VISA appointment?

I'm moving from India to Germany for my Master's degree and I'm a bit confused about health insurance and travel insurance.

I'm considering taking the health insurance package through Expatrio. If I choose Expatrio, how long is the insurance valid for? When do the monthly payments start, and how often do I need to pay?

Also, is separate travel insurance mandatory for the student visa if I already have Expatrio's incoming insurance? If yes, which provider would you recommend?

I have received an admission from BTU Cottbuss for Msc in Artificial Intelligence and I am waiting for other universities decisions for this Winter intake. Until when can I wait for other universities so that it doesn't affect my VISA process?

When can we hear from this Koblenz University for Msc in Web and Data Science?

I had applied to Freie Universität Berlin for Msc in Data Science in May. Now the application status in the portal is "Inprogress". Did anyone hear anything from Freie? When can we expect to hear from the university?

I had applied to Msc in AI at BTU Cottbuss on 1 June and has received the credentials couple of days ago, today I got to see "In progress " status. May I know how much time they take to process the application and release the decision?

Should we set up the blocked account before receiving the admit?

In the VISA do they ask about the source of funds available in the blocked account?

I received the portal credentials today. I have logged in into the portal. Is there anything to do after that?

My uniassist application for Msc in Web and Data Science application at Universität Koblenz was forwarded today, when can I hear from the university.

Uniassist has changed the status to okay for my Msc in Artificial Intelligence BTU Cottbuss application. May I know when can I receive credentials from the university and when can I expect the admission?

I have applied to 2 Universities via Uniassist and the status has changed from In evaluation to okay but have not received any mail from uni assist stating the same.
