question from an outsider

Hi! I have a couple friends who are obsessed with Splatoon, and being someone who loves both mearine biology and literal ink, I've been eager to hear about it. One of said friends compared me to the character Jelfonzo and showed me an image of him. I can't remember where I read it, but something said his tie had an ink splatter pattern on it. This makes sense given the game's theme, but I thought it looked more like ephyrae (the juvenile stage of "true jellyfish"), so I was wondering if anyone knows what that is. Also, how are jellyfish featured in the game? They're a special interest of mine, and I'd like to know before I try to play <3 Thanks!

Also, this is my first post here -- let me know if I'm following the rules

scholarship advice?

Hello! This may not be the right place to ask this, but I couldn't find any rules stating otherwise...

Anyway, I'm currently a high schooler in Indiana, but I want to study marine science at csumb as I'm very interested in their research program, work with the MBA/MBARI, and overall location. However, it's been hard to find scholarships for out-of-state students, and I’m afraid I won't be able to afford attending a college I actually like on the coast. Has anyone here come from inland and have any advice?

For context, my parents are a public school teacher and a self-employed guitar teacher, so the budget's pretty slim but not low enough for most financial aid.

Thanks a lot! Let me know if I should move or take down this post.

What is on this jellyfish?

Found this video today and I'm a bit confused. It almost looks like another jelly??? Or is that just a part of its bell? Thanks for any ideas

Tips on spotting jellyfish?

Hi! Jellyfish are a huge interest of mine, but I live very far inland and haven't seen any outside of an aquarium.

I'm going to visit my family in New Hampshire for the first time next week, and we'll spend a lot of time by the beach. I know many jellies bloom during the summer, but said relatives told me they don't remember finding any.

Does anyone have suggestions on where/when I could find some common jellyfish? Thanks!

Help with pokemon B&W error

I just started playing the gen 5 games on my 3ds, but I can't seem to connect the C-gear thing, and the game won't allow me to progress until Fennel can fully sync it...

Any advice?
