How far should Communist go when destroying bourgeois artifacts

When the communist takes political power and in the transition to and destroying of bourgeois institutions and tools. How far do we go? When talking about artifacts, think things like george washington desk and museum items, abraham lincoln statue or the Washington monument, historical documents, and buildings ect and equivalent in other countries, not just America, obviously.

I wrote this specifically for an individual. But decided to turn it into a small script to be used to argue similar talking points

This was meant to be used for the argument that homelessness is because of laziness and personal choice. This meant to get 3 more chapters but i stopped with only 2. Enjoy?

"In this lecture I'll do my best to highlight the contradictions of the belief that homelessness is a personal choice and laziness; rather, it's a systemic problem within the capitalist system that we find ourselves in today. That it is a social and economic issue within the richest country in the world and any capitalistic system of the modern age. By the end of this lecture, it's to be clear that personal choice has little to do with being homeless, starving, or impoverished.

Chapter 1: The economic overview of an average American worker.

The minimum wage mandated by the federal government is $7.25, and for tipped employees, it is $2.13. This has not changed since 2009.

Let us look at the average rent in my location. The average for a studio is $1,150 a month. The average down payment is 1 or 2 months of the rent. In this case, 2 months is $2300. The average grocery bill for one person, eating the necessities, beans, rice, etc., is about $300 a month. In order to get a job, one must have the ability to be contacted at any time. The average phone plan is about $140 a month. If you have gotten unlucky with the location of the apartment, you must get to work quickly and efficiently. This requires a vehicle. A used car runs the average American $547 a month. This is assuming you can find a used car for $26,000. Which requires, if you do not have good credit, a 20% down payment. This is $5200. Gas is about $80 a month. The average cost of car insurance (full coverage) is about $280 a month.

Let's break this down so far. $7.25 for 160 hours is $1,160. We have $1,160 to work with. Rent is $1,150, food is $300, the phone is $140, the car payment and insurance are $827, and then gas is $80. An average worker will spend $2,497 a month just to have some necessities. We are in the negative by $1337. We have not considered the down payment of these items. $5,200 for the car and $2,300 for the apartment. $7,500 for the average down payment. We have not yet discussed the smaller but still significant things that can add up quickly, like cooking equipment, silverware, plates, and personal hygiene. Which, depending on what you buy, can be hundreds of dollars when added up. This analysis proves that low wages are caused by the profit motive of capitalism. That creates a highly difficult situation for the worker.

Chapter 2: Jobs market and the difficulties

Let's examine the current job market of the United States and see how difficult it is for an average worker who is struggling financially or with homelessness and other economic issues.

The job market, by all accounts of experts, will acknowledge the difficulty of getting a job in the current market. Ghost jobs, AI doom loops, and extreme requirements. You might approach me with the question. "There are hundreds of job listings. I've seen them!" simply answered? Ghost jobs listing. Listings from a company that has no interest in hiring, only to make the organization look prosperous. According to Jasmine Escalera, a career expert. Says 1 in 3 U.S. job listings lead nowhere. Roughly 33% of job openings failed to result in a hire, according to recent data, representing more than 2.5 million roles. Michael Baynes, a co-founder and CEO, says, “A lot of companies see this as a harmless strategy.” Then we have the 'AI doom loop' where companies use AI to auto-filter the worker's application even if the worker has the qualifications. Then we have the extreme qualifications companies are now requesting. Jobs that claim to be entry-level require multiple years of experience in a similar field. Education is often too expensive. These qualifications can be too extreme for millions of workers. Especially workers who are poor or homeless. Not simply laziness.

As we have discussed in the above, the federal minimum wage for a worker is $7.25. Even if our average worker were able to find a job despite its difficulties, which are many, it would still be nearly impossible for this worker to make a living. Therefore, the average worker risks homelessness and starvation even while still having a job. In a 2021 study by the National Alliance to End Homelessness. It is stated that 53% of people living in homeless shelters and 40% of unsheltered people were employed, either full or part-time. The existence of large numbers of employed homeless people directly challenges the claim that homelessness is primarily caused by unwillingness or laziness to work. If employment itself does not guarantee housing, then homelessness cannot be explained solely through personal responsibility.

So what is this data telling us? Personal choices may affect some individual outcomes, but homelessness and poverty are primarily driven by systemic economic conditions such as capitalism."
