I know comparing these shows is more like comparing apples to oranges, but at the same time, these are 2 of my favorite short form web series, so I have to ask.

I think "Murphy & Mitzi" has better comedy & characters, but "Chikn Nuggit" has a more engaging story with some interesting, (if a touched flawed) lore.

I am gonna make damn sure that these shows get the support & love that they deserve, that they aren't gonna get unfairly canceled because of corporate hacks at BuzzFeed, or fed into Generative A.I. junk! And you guys shouldn't let BuzzFeed suck either. If you have an issue with BuzzFeed's grip & involvement in these shows, post about it on here, (either this subreddit, or other dedicated subreddits towards each show) & if you see them moving forward with a gross project, make damn sure your voice of disapproval is heard. Together, we can take back animation for the creators!

And also, let's try to prevent that Cupcake & Friends A.I. Slop from coming.

1. It isn't a remake, it's an adaptation, like how Channel Zero adapted those 4 creepypastas "Channel Zero, No End House, Search & Rescue Woods, & Hidden Door.

So I will not rewrite the actual content of the story, but use the pre-existing content as a jumpstart to the story, similar to how Channel Zero handled it.

2. It'll take place in the phone user's world, not the world of Chikn Nuggit. The original story didn't take place in the universe of Chikn Nuggit, but rather in the works of the user who received the shorts. So, it's more a story of a Chikn Nuggit fan, not Chikn Nuggit itself.

3. The catalyst will remain largely the same. While I do plan on rewriting most of the story, the main catalyst will be the same. It'll start off with our lead going to therapy after discovering the shorts, the therapist suggesting getting her phone debugged & goin to the expo convention as a form of exposure therapy, & her having a good time until the ex CN member comes & starts cursing out the show runners. But that's where the similarities end. Because unlike the original draft, which has the ex-member brutally attacking everyone at the convention, the ex member simply gets dragged away by security kicking & screaming. The lead gets shocked at first but soon relaxed & enjoys the rest of the expo. But when they get home, they watch the news & learn about several cases of mysterious phone hacking cases. Unfortunately, that's all the exposition I can give, because I haven't fully figured out the story yet. Not to mention it still only carries over a single episode if it were a season of Channel Zero currently. (For context, all seasons of Channel Zero have 6 episodes, with each episode being around 40 minutes.)

4. A more graduate ease of tension. I think a large reason why the original draft resonated with people so negatively is that it didn't really have a moment of sanity, it starts off with our character going to therapy & then they go to a convention only for a deranged lunatic to start gruesomely attacking everyone. So I plan on fixing that flaw.

5. In better taste. I won't go into too much detail of the original draft, but basically some people called it uncalled for, & unbelievable. So I will be taking great care in making sure I don't offend too much with the story, but I can't guarantee it won't disturb anyone, it's a horror story after all.

Anyways, that's about it for now, stay tuned for when the new first draft comes out.

It's a slapstick comedy show akin to the spy vs spy cartoons & the goofy sports cartoons. If you want to learn more about the logic behind it, Here's a video I've made talking a little bit more about the show. I hope you enjoy.

So, there's this developer named Keves who is working on a free (or super cheap) alternative to Toon Boom Harmony. Basically, they got sick of Toom Boom's scumminess with them removing perpetual licenses, & adding Ember, so they're making something that people can use instead. It's currently in very early stages of development, butit seems promising, it's 100% vector based, & here's some features to look forward to.

A more access node based rigging system.

A feature that allows scanning paper drawings to the software.

The ability to use 3D models as reference for frame by frame animation, like in Clip Studio Paint.

So, assuming TimTom releases SailBrush during the show's run & it has all the features of Adobe Animate, and that Adobe does shut down Animate, should they switch to that, or another software?
