My 4 piece Okuma guide select rod is stuck together. I used chapstick as an alternative to ferrule wax but that obviously didn’t work. I already tried behind the knees method and icing the joint but neither got the job done. I need to take it with me on a trip in 2 days and I don’t know how I’m going to get it apart.

If so what is the proper way to do so? Or should I wait for someone to offer it?

I am visiting Vietnam in June and will primarily be staying in Ho chi Minh and Hanoi. What kind of fishing can I do in that area? I’m mostly interested in fishing artificial lures and am willing to take a guided trip if anyone has recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Anyone have experience throwing big baits in Vietnam ? Specifically in and around Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi. I can’t find much on swimbaiting out there it seems like ultralight is the go to. I’m not sure which glides I should take. Any info is appreciated thanks
