Is this a record?
It took me a staggering 2.5 hours to change oil and filter (and clean cylinder mesh filter) on my Scrambler today.
The biggest pain is the rear silencer/cat that’s mucho difficult to re-install. An old car jack came to the rescue!
Least it’s done: Shell lube and Ducati filter.
Phew.
I’d love your views, if you’ve time, to tell me what you have done with the exhaust pipes on your Scrambler?.
They always look dull and take the look off the bike.

This has got to be a rare visitor to rails in the North East of England???
Over the years we’ve moved house a good few times, from North Yorkshire, Tyneside and Milton Keynes.
Without exception we’ve had absolutely marvellous posties, all extremely pleasant, personable and some going the extra mile outside I’m sure of their brief.
Saddened though to hear our long standing postman has recently resigned, reasons unknown and he will be a hard act to replace, though the relief’s we’ve had have been excellent.
Sorry for the ramble - I just want to record my thanks to all who deliver in all weathers - you’re the salt of the earth.
