The curse is passed on... (TalonClan)

First leader gets all her lives but one taken by a Clan of badgers, survives onto to get killed moons later by a random fox. Deputy proceeds to get his ass beat by a rogue immediately after getting his leader's name. Damn

Talk about a blended family

A former kittypet named Warmwhisper joined with his two kits (Beech and Roar), then found an abandoned kit on a patrol (Apple) 0-1 moon later, adopting her too.

Moons later, another former kittypet named Branchfur joined with her newborn kits (Mole, Ember, Bug, Tall, Root) and eventually fell in love with Warmwhisper. After adopting eachother's children, we have... this. And the best part is that they're a tom and a she-cat, so they could have MORE kits.

I will admit that I used the mediator to "ship" them a bit, but it only took one romance boost to make them hook up next moon lmao. This was meany to be and I love them

  • Changing the name, rank, clan, and gender are allowed!
  • Creating your own story, roleplay, art, (etc) with this character is allowed!
  • Redesigning until completely unrecognizable/fully color palette swapping is not allowed.
    • ...but slight changes that leave it recognizable, like adding or removing a color, changing the pattern to fit your style more, or redesigning to be "genetically accurate" are allowed!

About The Line-Art Redraw Option

Q: Why is it extra?

A: I designed this base years ago alongside a few other versions (all in this thick-lined style), but I know not everyone likes the art style. A lot of time & effort goes in to the process of redrawing it to make it more appealing!

Q: What does the "redrawing" involve?

A: I thin out & add weight to the lines while still making sure the shapes read similar. I also have to redraw/touch-up the pelt pattern on any parts that were previously covered up by the thicker lines.

Q: Why not just change the line art first and make the adopt with that?

A: Not every buyer is going to pick the upgraded option, so if I did that for every adopt I would just be left with one version of the adopt that is unneeded and a similar problem to before. I also don't have time to go through all my line art and redraw them (I have matching line art I plan to use for multi-adopt batches), but when all of the line art have been finally changed, I might start using only the thinner line-weighted versions for adopts!

Q: How will I communicate with you as my upgraded line art gets finished?

A: If Reddit DMs aren't your thing, I can send you my Discord tag! Just ask

I hate simplistic faux-leftist replies to trans issues

https://preview.redd.it/kxk2j6w4ftnh1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=72f4aa1ee6bda87ddcc04bbf399a89ce76371072

This was a comment on a video about the government restricting trans people's access to gender affirming care.

Like, gee, thanks. Everyone can totally afford to buy Gray Market hormones and get regular lab tests. *Every trans person,* even though a huge percentage of us are homeless and disabled. We must have never heard that advice before!

Special mention to anyone saying "arm the dolls!" on posts about trans people being in physical danger.

First of all, we aren't all dolls. Trans men and nonbinary people exist. And second... not all of us are physically or mentally abled enough to handle a gun safely. How about you arm yourself and protect the trans people who can't, hm?

It genuinely feels like "allies" have lost all compassion and logic. This is just the "politically correct" version of Thoughts And Prayers™️

Tips For Portraying Masculine Features in An Anthro Domestic Cat Sona

Backstory: This is my first time making a fursona that is 1. Anthro and 2. A guy because, well, I'm a trans guy and I've been a furry since I was a kid!

This sorta plays into my current dilemma.

How do you portray masculine features/masculine body type without making the character bulky or cartoonishly buff? I want this character to be partially me now and partially who i want to be, and bulking up fits neither of those criteria.

I currently plan to use the fur "angle" to mimic more masculine body hair patterns (fur tufts to mimick hair on the stomach and chest) and perhaps I'll also try to blend the feminine hip style with a more masculine "V" above the hips, but aside from doing something like adding fur to mimic facial hair, I'm still kinda lost.

There are so many tutorials online for masculine character design, but I'm struggling to translate those in a meaningful way to an anthro furred character. Any tips or tutorials that helped yall?

Willengender/Willgender/Willenic: A gender that you must "will" into existence, where you have a base gender (or lack thereof) and have to will this on top of it to actually "feel" the Willenic gender

I coined this years ago on my old deleted account, but the flags weren't my best work at all and I'd love someone else to redesign them since I don't actually use this identity myself, it's just based on some life experiences I heard from other people.

There are subsets like will(en)girlic, will(en)boyic, will(en)enbyic, and you can combine them like will(en)boygirlic. There are also fluid versions like will(en)fluid and will(en)flux.

Willgirl(ic)

Willboy(ic)

Willenby(ic)

Original Flag Design (Explanation)

Willboygirl(ic)

Willenfluid/Willenflux

This was made based on the obscure experience some genderqueer autistic people discussed where masking and navigating society sometimes seemed to "change" their gender or make it "feel" different/stronger, but you don't have to identify as neurodivergent or genderqueer in any way to use this gender!

It's different from just waking up and deciding to be a girl/boy/enby/etc. Every time you want to feel this gender, you have to put active effort in.

It is also different from being closeted or being a "trans egg." This gender is part of you, even if it doesn't affect you as much when you aren't focusing on it. For example, with autistic masking, your Willenic gender ISN'T part of the societally-required mask itself, moreso where the mask intersects with your true identity.

If you feel that your Willenic gender is something you ONLY put on to please others, this is not the term for you, unfortunately.

Term Glossary:

1. Will: The act of using purposeful and active effort to focus on your Willenic gender and "make" it manifest

Verb

"I have to will my gender into existence, otherwise I'm gendervoid."

2. Willengender/Willgender

Noun or occasionally adjective

"I use the term Willengender to describe my experience!"

"I'm Willengender, so I feel like a boy right now."

3. Willenic

Adjective

"My Willenic gender is male, meaning I will it on top of my base gender to feel male!"

"I'm a Willenic boy!"
