Thank you Rick of Calgary Transit

Thank you Rick of Calgary Transit

I had the pleasure of riding the #5 yesterday at 11:00, where I got to witness the most heartwarming moment, when the bus driver came from behind the partition to offer a little girl the gift of a lollipop. Turns out it was her first bus ride, and one she won’t soon forget, thanks to the kindness of Rick, our friendly bus driver! I got to chatting with him, and it turns out he is retiring in August after 38 years of service! We will be down the smoothest driver I’ve ever had the pleasure to ride with. I don’t often have loving things to say about Calgary Transit and feel I must publicly acknowledge and recognise great service when I can. Thank you, Rick, for your service. I hope I get the pleasure of your company again before you leave, and I wish you all the good things in your retirement!
