First time furnishing my own home, wood or no wood?

Hi everyone! This is the first home I’m furnishing entirely by myself, and I’m having a hard time deciding which direction to take with the interior design.

I’m currently torn between two styles: one that incorporates wood finishes, like in the kitchen pictured here, and another that is more minimal and neutral, without wood, using mostly beige/greige, black, and stone-like finishes.

I like the warmth and character that wood adds, but I’m worried it might make the space feel too warm, busy, or eventually dated.

On the other hand, the no-wood option feels cleaner and more modern to me, but I’m afraid the overall result could end up looking a bit cold or impersonal.

Since this is my first time making all these decisions, I’m probably overthinking it hahahha.

Which direction would you choose: with wood or without wood?

Thanks guys!

Bad wobble experience with the E5

I recently bought and assembled a FlexiSpot E5 standing desk with a bamboo desktop and I’m a little concerned about the stability.

At approximately 103 cm, I notice quite a lot of front-to-back wobble. I have not installed my monitors yet, and I’m worried that the movement will become much more noticeable once they are on the desk, especially if I use monitor arms.

I have already checked:

  • All screws and bolts appear to be properly tightened.
  • The adjustable feet are level and firmly touching the floor.
  • The frame and desktop seem to be assembled correctly.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the E5?

Do you think it might be possible to return only the frame and keep the bamboo desktop, then upgrade to a four-leg model? Or have I basically wasted my money now that the desk has already been assembled?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with FlexiSpot returns or upgraded from the E5 to a more stable model.

Sihoo s300 my problem or standard?

I have a Sihoo S300 that arrived 6 days ago. The seat pan slides forward and backward while getting close to the desk, anyone has the same problem?

Kindle Scribe Color pen not registering / distorting near screen edges

Hey everyone,

I've been having a frustrating issue with my Kindle Scribe Colorsoft (11", 2025 model) and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

When writing near the edges of the screen, two things happen:

- The pen stroke simply doesn't register at all (kinda dead zone)

- Or the stroke appears but is distorted/bent, like it's being pulled in the wrong direction

No cover, Is this a known hardware defect? Has anyone managed to solve it, or did you end up returning/replacing the device?

Thanks

Hello everybody, I’m struggling with a gameplay mechanic.

It often happens that I completely mess up a cross into the box (and I know that part is my fault). However, what keeps happening is that the cross misses the player I was aiming for and instead goes to another player I’m not controlling, who just stands there and watches the ball without doing anything.

The problem is that everything happens in a split second. If my player doesn’t automatically try to control the ball (or if the game switches me to that player too late), I don’t have enough time to react and take a shot. What ends up happening is that I just watch the ball roll past me.
