You look about my age and, whilst I'm sure that you're trying to be nice, calling out twice to me on the same stretch of road (I hadn't realised you were calling out to me the first time), this, you know, came off as MONUMENTALLY creepy -!

It's a busy Tuesday afternoon & we're understaffed again, so I'm flicking between helping her and others for a few more minutes, & she's "threatening" to leave her shopping behind because the machine isn't accepting her phone payment (mutter mutter, LIDL NEVER GIVES HER THIS GRIEF!!)
Ma'am, I really do not mean this with any disrespect... But -
If you do not know how to use 'tap to pay' on your phone (or at least try to figure it out without screeching at the member of staff trying to help you), it really shouldn't be using it.
The issue?
A- She hasn't gone into the payment menu yet.
B? - She's tapping her phone on the pin guard, and not the top of the machine (with the contactless 'logo' is).

Jesus f--king Christ, I have had enough of this, I really have...
She (finally) pays properly & I pass her the receipt (because, at this point, I honestly question if she's intelligent enough to see it by her knees) and, smiling as sweetly & politely as I can, leave to help other people (because, you know, it's busy!).
According to my friend, who was in there with me, she apparently was 'giving me the evils' for a few moments afterwards. Oi vey.
