Weekly Bar Trivia Team Recruitment

We currently have a solid group of 3 people playing trivia every Thursday at Aslin in the strip.

We are seeking more people to round out our team. We average middle of the pack placement and we really want to win, but that’s not the ultimate goal. Trivia is our ice breaker to friendship and the group meets up outside of trivia for new restaurants, sports hangs, and random outings.

We have varying interests and our only deal breaker is no trumpers. No age requirement but for transparency we are mid 30s to early 40s.

Anyone else have a fav tribe you try and force just because you think it’s fun?

For me it’s beasts. If it’s in the lobby I’ll do what I can to play em. I like all the builds of beetle, summon big attack bois, or damage scaling.

I tend to stick to “meta” comps, but this is one of the most unique/fun boards I’ve had

I used fly the flag on surf n surf and played them on brood mother. Where deathly striker is was the best minion available.

Trinkets: start of combat trigger all death rattles and when a minion takes damage give +3 attack to a different minion.

Didn’t win but was fun

Trying to learn folk/bluegrass. My take on the G Run. Need Advice on timing

I’m a pop punk power chord kid by nature and trying to learn other styles. I know my timing is shit in this clip and even with a metronome what feels correct is often not correct with time. Any advice on that or anything you notice?

I did a friendship application in this sub a WAYS back but never followed up with anyone (SORRY!)

I have a lot of social anxiety (new to me, I used to be an extrovert) but would like to have some close/group friends that do things in a regular cadence to start and then the improv can start.

Aka group trivia, group sports watching, random group walk, etc

I’m a 40m (straight) living in the strip that is interested in everything

I’d like to have a person or group for regular walks, coffee, drinks, movie nights, potlucks, etc. As is the post title If this a routine thing the better.

I’m bad at crossing rivers for a one time exchange but willing to travel for consistency.

I play guitar, enjoy deep debate on any thoughtful topic, into interior design, football, tech. and walking the city.

I’m one of those “liberals” they warned you about and that’s really my only deal breaker.

Also, just bought a camera and want to learn street photography
