If your a customer at walmart your probably wondering what a walmart employee would see the perfect customer as, As a walmart employee myself I’ve listed some things you can do to be less of a nuisance to employees so they can have a less stress full day!

1. If you have any question don’t go to customer service or anyone stocking things instead go to the employees with blue carts on a roller because you may have a realized there all around the store that’s because the there placed there to help any customers with question when ever! Another person you could ask is employees with there vest in there pockets or around there neck’s those employees will for sure be extremely happy to help you out!

2. If you need to get something out of a locked case just stand there until you see a employee past by you because they will for sure have the key to the case just because there in the area you are standing in.

3. Go to walmart either on a Saturday or Sunday for these are our less busy times and there will be just a few people in the store shopping and your shopping experience will be more chill and fast!

4. Do not ask any questions to people with blue tags instead look for the grown ups with yellow tags for those are our managers who have been here the longest and have been awarded those special tags because of there vast knowledge

5. If you can’t find where something is don’t use the walmart app instead walk around the store and look for someone with a blue cart or go to the back of the store and look for an opening where there a bunch of carts and employees back there and yell at one of them to help you out.

I’ve been working here for about a week in ogp and this is a hypothetical situation that hasent happened hey but I just want to be ready just in case. Say a customer want something really expensive like airpods, a ps5 or a oculus but nobody in that department is around. Am I allowed to open up the case for the item and give it to them or will I get in trouble if I do that without someone from that department present or a manager. I’m also a minor if that matters at all.

Some people might think an evil person is a criminal, a politician or even a ceo but those do not compare to the evil people that I have faced today at work… Let me give you a back story I’ve been working at walmart for a week now i’m still learning the ropes and picking is all i’ve ever knew I haven’t even done oversized picking yet or expectations that’s how clueless I am to all of these things. So present day i’m just chilling waiting for stuff to pick and keep in mind my shift ends in 30 minutes. So these girls walk up to me and ask if I want to help them do returns with them, I have no idea what that is because again i’m new to all this but ofcourse I say yes because i’m a people pleaser and didn’t want to be rude also I want to make new friends too. I asked them how do I do that and they basically said we have to put things where the originally were and you know your boy got that 95 picking average and thought I was the best so I think it’s gonna be nice and easy…. Until they show me the cart. Tell my why the cart was struggling to hold its self together and every each it moved something fell out. I asked them how long it was going to take and they said it wouldn’t take long and plus they were going to split it up into 2 carts ( I also failed to mention that my shift ends in 30 minutes but I didn’t know at the time it will be hell to pay) So continuing on they splitting everything up and ya boy ( 95 picking average demon) Notices that they specifically choosing items that are close to each other but then I ALSO REALIZE there’s only 2 carts but there’s 3 of us so now i’m confused but I don’t say anything because I don’t wanna be seen as rude. So there done splitting the things up and I look at the cart they assigned to me and there’s things in clothing, produce, makeup, cleaning supplies mind you all these things and across the store from one another. I look at my cart then look at them and my stupid self told them “ok” I’m actually so dumb. There cart was just things all relative to each other like drinks, bread, and lotion what makes it even worse I’ve just realized then that they both were going to be doing one cart and they wanted me to do one by my self.. When I tell you I was so irritated because by then there’s 25 minutes left in my shift ( I still haven’t mentioned that to them yet) And I don’t even drive so my parents have to pick me up and this was going to take at-least an hour. But I couldn’t pull back now because I didn’t want to have a bad impression on my coworkers. So I take my sorry butt to start returning items and when I tell it was actually hell on earth especially that damn makeup section that was life draining. When i’m done and get to the bread section tell me why they are already done and then they have the audacity to say “When your done come back because we are going to do frozen next” ……… Genuinely with all my heart … I nodded …. Why the hell would I do that my cart still full and my shift ended 15 minutes ago with my parents waiting. At this point i’m just putting random things in random places because i’m overly irritated and I don’t care anymore I just want to go home. When I was finally done I put the cart away and left the without going back to talk to them. Now that’s what I call true evil. Never again.

I might just have the either the worst luck ever or the walmart gods are punishing me because when i’m picking the section where im picking at is always crowded with people and what makes it even worse they seem to have 0 brain functionality, On the rare chances where its not busy there always some random cart that spawns where the exact item I need is and just gets in my way and same with the customers they always some how blocking where I need to get my item. Tell me this ain’t just me….
