Chris Claremont & John Romita Jr
I posted last week that I would be meeting Chris and John, and I thought I'd update with the books I got signed. Both were super nice and I love the flair these books have now!

Posted on the sub earlier in the week which Magik book to get signed by Claremont, and like most people were saying. I went with #4!
After some (a ton) of waiting, I got to talk to the legend and as he was signing this book I asked where he got the inspiration for all the pagan/Wiccan iconography and all he said was "I have my primary sources and that's all I have to say." So cool.
A few people said I should get the whole run signed but Wolverine is my favorite hero and I was getting X books and early Wolverine signed, but happy to nab this!
Was able to get my hands on Magik & Colossus issue 4 a few days early! Liking how the run has picked up since the beginning.
Hey everyone, heading to a con next weekend where Chris Claremont is signing, and amongst the X-books and Wolverines I'm getting signed, I figured id get a Magik book signed as well.
Should I go with issue 1 or 4. I usually go for first issues but 4 is kinda *the* issue.
Thoughts?
Hey everyone, heading to my first con next weekend where Chris Claremont is going to be signing. Assuming he doesn't have a limit of how many sigs you can buy, would this be too much? I don't want to be the guy who holds up a line too long if that's frowned upon.
I was initially only going to bring the ones up top + GLMK, but JRJr is going to be there too and I thought I'd go for the double whammy. Also going to be there two days and figured maybe do half and half over the two days.
Thoughts? Thanks.
Nabbed Rocket from my LCS with a 20% off sale. Figure looks incredible and the articulation is stellar. Only downside is that he doesn't hold the gun at all and I needed putty just for a basic pose.
Looking forward to the upcoming Rivals releases!
Found my dad's old collection of Star Wars cards from back when he was a kid. I know essentially nothing about cards (I'm more of a comic book guy) and was wondering if some are worth grading in their current condition, if I should complete sets (I know I have a complete blue and red with plenty extra) or what.
Neither of us are too into Star Wars anymore so there's no sentimental value for us holding onto them.
