Fiscal residency (and where you should pay your taxes...)
Hi everyone,
I've been living in Switzerland for 8 years, with a C permit, french national.
I now work near Basel, I also rent a room in the area.
I pay all my taxes in Switzerland.
BUT, my girlfriend is in France, and I come home regularly to see her and often sleeps at her place.
Could France consider that France is my fiscal residence because of this?
Only one criteria has to be met in order to be considered a fiscal resident -> my social life is in France.
I currently have no other attachement to France (no rent, contract, insurance, accounts.. etc.)
Am I fucked? :(
