The new design is also good, but i liked that Kunishige had a more thought guy apperance instead of looking almost like a 1:1 version of Chihiro

I think this is too big of a revelation about his father's creation and the consequences of his actions for Chihiro to learn it offscreen and drop it casually in a conversation with Samura.
The only argument they make is that the author said the sword has a "lag" before cutting, which to them implies the attack has a travel speed.
But the lag refers to the time before and after akemura finishes activating butterfly to cut the space, not to the time the slash take's to travel (because the travel does not exist).
I've checked 5 different oficial translations outside of english, and none of them implied Butterfly cut "throught space", just that it "cuts space". The implication that Butterfly has to run throught space is a english translation problem.
Also, Chihiro had to fight 3 enchanted blade users before Akemura on the same day and was tired, while Yuta was in 100% and was hit by a weakened WCS.
The speed movement and reaction speed difference between Chihiro and Yuta is far too big.
He was able to activate banquet and put everyone under an illusion in the short time between Samura's teleport and him attacking Toto.
And people don't notice they are under an illusion either until him and Toto escaped.
We already know a enchanted blade wielder can use the enchanted blade's power even when it's in a different dimension away from them (Chihiro and Akemura used their sword's powers when they we're inside of the storehouse)
Samura does not need to touch tobimune to use it's ability. He could teleport tobimune to his hand while fighting chihiro.
Samura can manifest his feathers anywhere he wishes, as long as he knows the location.
As far as we've seen, the only limitation to samura's teleport is to know where to spawn his feathers.

Team rwby lied to Ironwood in volume 7 because they we're afraid of what he could do if he knows all the truth.
So i think it would be thematicaly fitting if Ironwood was also lying in volume 8 because he was thinking of what is the most efficient way of solving a problem rather than looking trusthworth.
Ironwood would still be in the wrong, but at least he would have be morally gray instead of a genocidal.
