Hey everyone!

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to this community for all the support you've shown me and my apps.

I'm an indie developer, and honestly, I wouldn't have gotten this far without people like you. Some of you have helped me find bugs, suggested features, tested early versions, or simply downloaded an app to give it a chance.

That support means more than you probably realize.

So I wanted to do something big to give back.

🎉 I'M GIVING AWAY FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO 11 OF MY APPS!

No monthly subscriptions. No recurring payments. Just lifetime access to the premium features included in the offer.

I've built apps for content creators, travelers, privacy-conscious drivers, people looking to connect with others, and more.

Here's what's included:

📸 DualCapture — Record with your front and back cameras at the same time.

🎥 DualTakeCam — Record vertical and horizontal videos simultaneously for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube.

📼 VHS Camera — Turn your phone into a retro VHS camcorder with vintage video effects.

⚡ FlockDetour — Find known Flock/ALPR license plate cameras and explore alternative GPS routes.

🖤 BLK Chat — Meet and connect with Black people in your city through local group chats.

📝 ScriptCam — Generate video scripts and record with a built-in teleprompter.

🍿 What2WatchAI — Get AI-powered movie and TV recommendations based on your preferences and streaming services.

🌍 Passport Buddy — Translate text using your phone's camera.

🎁 GetFreeAPP — Discover premium app giveaways and free lifetime deals.

💬 CityChat — Join local chatrooms and meet people in your city.

📖 BibleScroll — Discover Bible verses, daily inspiration, and scripture in a modern, easy-to-use app.

I'll put all the download links and redemption instructions in the first comment, including Android links wherever available.

Why am I giving everything away?

Because I want real people using these apps.

I'm still improving them, fixing bugs, and adding features. Some of my best ideas have come from people in this community, and I'd much rather get honest feedback than spend thousands of dollars on advertising.

If you try an app and something doesn't work, tell me. If you think a feature is missing, tell me. If you love something about it, I'd love to hear that too.

All I ask is one small favor.

If you genuinely enjoy any of the apps, please consider sharing them on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, or with a friend.

Even a quick 10-second demo or recommendation can make a massive difference for a small developer.

You don't have to post anything to participate. I just appreciate anyone willing to help spread the word.

If you'd like to follow what I'm building next, I'm also on X:

https://x.com/startupstartupx

And I'd love to know:

Which app are you most interested in trying? And what kind of app should I build next?

Seriously, thank you all for being part of this journey. ❤️🙏

The MacBook notch takes up space, so I figured it might as well do something.

I made Top Notch, a Mac app that turns the notch into a small command center.

Hover over the notch and it opens widgets for things like:

• music controls
• live lyrics
• video player
• weather
• clipboard history
• Pomodoro timer
• calendar
• battery levels
• Apple Shortcuts
• quick notes

The idea is to keep useful stuff one hover away without opening more windows or switching apps.

It also runs locally on your Mac. No account, no tracking, no cloud sync.

It’s a paid app, so I’m not trying to hide that. Just wanted to share it here because it feels like the notch should have been used for something like this already.

Would love feedback from other MacBook notch users. What would you actually want living in the notch?

Hey everyone 👋

Like a lot of people, I got completely burned out from scrolling through Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and every other streaming app trying to decide what to watch. Half the time I’d spend more time browsing than actually watching something… so I decided to build a solution.

I just launched an iOS app called What2WatchAI 🎬

What2WatchAI helps you figure out what to watch without the endless scrolling. After signing up, you select all the streaming services you’re subscribed to, and the app shows you the top movies and TV shows you can watch right now across those platforms — all in one place.

Some of the main features:
• Choose your streaming services and see curated movies & TV shows available to you
• Discover trending and top-rated content without jumping between apps
• Home screen shows what’s currently in theaters and what movies are coming soon
• Tinder-style swipe feature to quickly like or skip movies and TV shows
• Built-in AI chatbot trained specifically for movie and TV recommendations, so you can ask things like “What’s a good thriller tonight?” or “What should I watch with friends?”

The goal is to make finding something to watch quick, simple, and actually fun.

I've ran into this problem multiple times throughout my Expo journey.

You spend forever getting all of the app to work, from keyboard avoidances to keyboard dismissal to those nuance UI/UX problems.

You test with npx expo run:ios --device

you test with eas build --platform ios --profile production --local

and everything works.

Then its time for the EAS build and you run into this problem. You have Expo Skills and Expo MCP but it takes hours to debug wtf is wrong with it.

I've literally had a $300 expo bill in the past when I first started because of failed builds over and over and over again.

Sometimes I get lucky with apps and its no problems, sometimes this happens.

Please to everyone in here smarter than me. HOW CAN I AVOID THIS!

Or Expo team, can you improve the skills or something so that it can precheck everything so people dont waste money and server resources on multiple failed builds?

Made alot of updates since initial release and wanted to give free lifetimes away to people interested in this subreddit

I started 5 months ago. About 10 apps launched (full effort vibe coded apps , not one shot bullshit)

Still working on marketing but damn , I didn’t think it would be this hard.

Most of revenue is from lifetime/1 year subs on a few apps that don’t require AI.

My only marketing so far is giving away free lifetimes in subreddits, that’s the spikes and hoping that helps my ASO and getting the word out.
