Moon roof Problems

I have a 2015 Pilot. I have a problem with the seal of the moonroof. It is not closing all of the way. Part of the seal in the rear part of the window is loose and not attached to the window which is causing it to not close and it is creating a gap. The rest of the window is sealed and closed. It is only this part in rear of the window that has the problem.

Is this something that can be easily fixed or do I have to take it to a dealer? I asked my repair guy and he doesn't get involved with issues like this.

Outdoor Spigot

Please move the post if necessary.

I have an outdoor spigot and the threads were cut because I had to remove the old garden hose. Obviously, I had to use a hacksaw to cut the hose in order to remove it from the spigot. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how far I cut the hose and cut into the threads of the spigot.

Now, I put on another hose but the water is spraying everywhere. Can I buy something like an adapter to fix it or replace the whole spigot?

I have a pic of the spigot if I am able to upload a picture.

Marines DEP

I have a question about the DEP (Delay Entry Program) and about being a "poolee". My son, 18, has graduated high school. He is planning on signing up for the Marine corp soon.

As I understand it, once he speaks to a recruiter and enlists into the USMC, is the DEP a mandatory or optional program that he decides upon himself or does ALL new recruits participate in this program first before they officially ship out to go to boot camp?

From my understanding, DEP will give a sense of what boot camp is really like and whether or not he is truly ready for the real stuff including mental and physical training but can withdrawal at anytime.

How long is the DEP? Is the DEP a one year commitment? Where does it take place?

Thanks.

TC/Traction and Check engine Lights

I have a 2020 Equinox. I've had this car for a little over a month now. Yesterday afternoon, as I am driving in the rain to the store, the TC and traction control lights were lit up on the dashboard. I noticed on all 4 tires the air pressure was between 30-33 which I thought was odd when it is 60+ degrees outside. I guess it possible to have low tire pressure.

On my return home, both lights were still on and check engine light was now lit up on the dashboard. I felt something was off especially after the car is sitting idle and the RPMs are bouncing slightly above 1. It didn't sound right.

I will take the car to my repair guy to scan for the codes. Anyone know what's going on?

HDD Errors

I am new to the Synology NAS but not to Synology, in general. I have one of their routers and familiar with SRM.

I just bought a 220+ and put in a single WD 10EURS green drive in it. It is a 1tb drive. For now, that is all I have to use. After I got the 220 up and running using the latest DSM 7.4 version, I started having HD problems. It wasn't an immediate issue but shortly afterwards is when I discovered the issue.

In storage manager it was saying "critical" errors on the drive. I didn't have any data on the drive. I am thinking the drive was bad and I didn't realize it or DSM 7.4 had the restriction on the drive because it is a non Synology drive.

Regardless, I will need to replace the drive and I am thinking of Seagate EXOS drives. Yes, I am aware of Ironwolf and WD Red drives but those tend to be pricey. I not sure if I will be using RAID or not. Maybe sometime in the future, I will use it.

LJ M101 Driver

I have a teacher who has a MBA running Sonoma and a LJ M101 printer.

I need to find a printer driver that is compatible with Sonoma. The printer is connected via USB and it is seeing the printer but not applying the correct driver. Yes, CUPS is installed on this computer but I can't find it when I do a manual search.

I don't know if there is a compatible driver that I can use in its place.

2020 Equinox RPMs

I am new to this group and to Chevy cars in particular the Equinox models. This car is a 1.5 engine.

Unlike my previous cars, I noticed when driving this car, I am going 60-65 for speed, the RPMs are about 2.5 but I don't know if that is considered normal for this car or not. My other cars stayed around 2 for RPMs when going 60+ for speed. Yes, I am aware of every car is going to be different in terms of the engine and related parts.

I feel like the car is stuck in a gear and doesn't want to downshift to a lower speed.

Pacifist Extractor

On a Mac running Tahoe, I tried to use Pacifist extractor 4.14 to extract a .PKG file. I can't get the program to extract the files.

On the Mac, I have the .PKG file and I want to extract the files to a flash drive. I open Pacifist and locate the .PKG file. Next, I click on "extract" and choose the flash drive as the destination. Whether I choose to extract with "admin permissions" or not, it doesn't complete the task.

I don't know what I am doing wrong to get this to work.
