I'm an adult with TC. What do I do now?

I was born with a lipoma in my lower back. I had surgery as an infant, and in middle school to de-tether my Spinal cord.

I have Zero feeling and Motor control from the shin down.

I turned 18 in 2020, it was such a clusterfuck I wasn't able to get a proper transfer of medical care from my childhood nerousurgeon to an adult one.

Primary children's claims they don't have me records.

I live in an a "rual" area, it's at least a day's drive to the nearest hospital that has a doctor who knows anything about tethered Cord.

I don't drive, obviously I live on disability.

What do I actually do here about improving my life or at least persuing proper medical treatment?

How do I function as an adult?

I was born with a lipoma tethered to my lower back.

I had the first surgery when I was an infant, the second when I was in middle school. I had to re-learn how to walk and have been gradually losing my ability to be ambulatory since middle school. Especially after covid. I turned 18 in 2020, everything was so complicated I never thought about reaching out to the big city hospital that handled my surgeries until somewhat recently.

They are struggling to find my records, no local doctors even really know what tethered Cord is.

I need serious help trying to figure out what this i need to do to improve, and live an adult life with severe tethered Cord.

A friend gave me this, what do I need to start making prints? or possibly digitizing film?

A friend won me this for $5 (at a local auction house)so am I a film developer now? I know I'm gonna need a lot more parts for it, but is it honestly gonna be worth it? Or should I just list it on eBay. I already have some 120 film I shot on my Kodak Hawkeye that I have been wanting to develop myself. But I simply can't sink thousands into this unless I can make it my career.

Did I mess up?

I found a starling fledgling in the middle of the road. Literally sitting on the yellow line. I thought he was dead until he moved his head a little bit. I flipped around on my E-Bike and stopped next to him, he didn't budge so I picked him up, put him in my bag, and brought him home. I looked up everything right away, finding out he was a starling fledgling, an invasive species, and he was probably having his first misadventures outside the nest.

He refused to eat anything but a single centipede the whole night, I forced a little bit of egg onto the tip of his beak a few hours later. I think it stressed him out too much and he was gone an hour later.

I feel bad, do you think he would've lived if I let him be?

Can my partner (ftm) and me (MTF) get HRT by just lying to the doctor?

if I ask my doctor to get put on testosterone and vice versa for my partner, then we just swap the meds. Do you think we could get insurance to technically cover our transition under the guise of "cisgender" hormone therapy.
