Since I can’t power this up, I can’t identify what 2009 MacBook this is; on the bottom it reads: rated 16.5v — 3.65A Max Thanks in advance.

Still positive- wrecked- HELP PLEASE

I did the quad therapy. It was horrible for me(and I’m not a wimp.) My re-check urea breath test came back Active positive. My throat still feels like I swallowed a burning twig. Stomach feels ok so long as I follow small meals, no dairy, cruciferous veggies. For those who did not eradicate with quad therapy, what was your next step?
Suppose to start a new job July 13. Really appreciate those in similar situations who found success second time around sharing advice.
In the US, it’s a holiday weekend 🙄 and GI schedulers say they’re booking for September… drawing of my current state of mind hoping to encourage your insights.

Thought it was heartbreak after losing son, but actually had active H.Pylori infection

Our son died a year ago this month. For the last six months I’ve had chest pains, nausea, heartburn, inability to eat with others as gag reflex would close my throat. I shared in a post some of these symptoms with this understanding group, and many said they had the same. My doctor did a checkup and bloodwork, and agreed it was likely grief.

Late May, went back to the doctor and she ordered an H. Pylori breath test which came back positive. After 14 miserable days taking a hardcore cocktail of antibiotics and prescription antacids, most of my symptoms are gone. If you’re struggling with long-term GI symptoms and chest pain, please consider asking for this test.
The meds were almost worse than the symptoms, and I came to the conclusion that my beautiful boy in heaven may have had a hand to make me physically miserable as we approached and surrendered to the first anniversary of his passing so that maybe my mind would be preoccupied during a torturous time.
Not a doctor, just a grieving mom.

How soon after completing antibiotics to get retested?

Today is my last day taking 14 days of Pylera - possibly the most nauseous days of my life—almost equivalent to chemo for me. The headaches, lethargy, is so uncharacteristic; I even went to the ER one day convinced I was having a stroke I was so weak and the headaches was unbearable. Thanks to all who contribute to the sub as you gave a great deal of good advice (toast was a savior). Question: do you wait a few days to get re-tested to make sure it‘s totally vanquished?

Also, if the testing is negative, how comfortable were you with kissing a loved one? I’m terrified of giving this to my husband.

Thanks in advance.

Really need advice

One year ago today we lost our son. Six months ago, I started to get horrible heartburn. Figured it was grief. Got so bad, went to doctor who tested and said I likely have an ulcer and tested positive for H Pylori. I’m trying to follow the treatment, but the meds make me even more nauseous. Like on the ground clutching the carpet. Is this normal? I just keep attributing to grief, but this is really like me. I’ve stopped drinking coffee- so constant headache. I’m scared to eat. Any advice appreciated.
