My 2nd attempt of the cutest blonde mascot devil in all of videogame history.

Hello I am new here but I come looking for some advice.

Two days ago a festival started and I decided to take home a fish the very first day. I do know of the deplorable conditions they are kept in and wanted to see if i could at least help a fish if I could . After winning one I just took the first fish the lady randomly tossed in my hands and it was a goldfish (they also had other breeds of fish) I immediately set up a tank with the basics to start off (ill add decor later on) and filter for it along with needed water conditioner treatment. Yes I did the float method to get the fish acclimated so I don't shock the fish after giving the conditioner time to work but I noticed these black spots on the fish that I thought were natural when I first got the fish but now I'm not soo sure I heard it can be stress marks or burns from poor conditions at the fair Im hoping its new home will be enough to take care of it . Is there anything else i can do? also is this permanent? or will get worse? I also notice their fins have tiny chips and tears i also am worried about. also I fed the fish the food i got at the fair (That also came with a small temporary enclosure box and a tiny amount of colorful rocks ) and I noticed the fish keeps spitting it out before eating it out of hunger most likely. The next day I bought some fish food the pet store employee recommended and the fish is still spitting it out instead of eating it i keep having to scoop the remains out the tank. no matter how small and amount i give a lot remains leftover. both types of fish food were flakes. I also notice the fish keeps chewing at the floor of the tank randomly and I'm not sure if that's normal or the fish is hungry but won't eat my food. please help.

TLDR:

I decided to rescue a fish from a festival and put it in a real tank but not sure if the black spots/tiny chips and tears on the fish's fins are normal and would like advice on them if needed also the fish doesn't seems to want to eat given food and spits the flakes out (both the fish food from the fair and food a petco worker recommended). also chews at the tank floor just would like some help/advice as a new fish owner .

As a killer main (Trickster) There's nothing more fun than getting a lobby full of the cutest survivors like Dwight,Leon,Chris/carlos and of course Steagull. The old bird thing about him I will miss it was so cute despite a bit annoying at times. I been dying to draw him for a while but held back because I'm lazy. recently I decided to spend about a week on this pin-up while drawing with a friend when I should be studying for my drivers license.
