my impressions on the BENQ MA270S....

i bought my benq ma270s about 6 months ago or so,

i must say im deeply dissapointed 6 months into it.... the panel itself is amazing to look at but thats about where it stops for me !

the panel has developed lately backlight bleed that is clearly visible when working in lower brightness settings during evenings...

i can see massive white spots over more darker areas as soon as i turn down the brightness...

this does not happen during broad daylight when im on max settings , im starting to regret not having bought the studio display 2... instead

also ports have been finicky for me from day 1 ! sometimes the screen just refuses to work i thought it was my cable but i used it previously on a previous display and it worked fine, i even changed it and the problem persisted...

for the price paid with best buy i must say im deeply dissapointed ! now i dont know if this will be covered by warranty but its super annoying because i have to return this, i am not even certain if i still have the box for it anymore! anyone else?

looking to get into a E91, thoughts ?

im looking to buy an E91 i saw locally posted on marketplace,

car has 174k miles,

its a 2010 manual, car looks extremely clean for its mileage but i do have a few concerns,

quite loud ticking noise from the engine bay

it has a brand new water pump because it just failed recently, the seller did mention he was driving and the engine did get hot because the light for the temp came up and he pulled over immediately,

asking price is 3.4k USD,

seller does mention that occasionally the check engine will come on but its quite rare, car seems to be running strong otherwise freshly repainted....

i will be looking at the car and have NO tools or scanner with me... what should i be looking out for ?

i did have a E91 prior and it was an absolute disaster of a car but loved every moment of it when it did run right lol.... every drive was just a surprise and i never knew what i was getting into

thoughts ?

2021 R line Tiguan…

Check engine light came on at around 88000 km i didn’t think much of it and also never had much time to handle it… got an oil change at 94k km…

Went to dealer at 96K and was told pcv is bad and evap canister is bad… on the way back home from the dealer the oil light came on for the first time saying its low… i pulled over checked it and indeed it was quite low the next morning i added 500 ml of 0W-20 oil synthetic…

That lasted till 97800 KM to which i added another 500ml of it…

Then about 1500 km the light came on again and this time i added a whole 1L into it…

By the way i was following dealer recommendations that if the light comes on to add oil until my appointment…

Now where i am confused is today at 101k the light came on i stopped the car and turned the car on again and the light went away?

Dealer is saying they will replace the valve seal stems and that its a common issue… im starting to be affraid that the actual engine may need to be replaced entirely? Im also afraid the engine was damaged by running low on oil ? Every time i checked the dipstick the oil level has always shown on the low side?

Should i fight to get the whole engine replaced given i have an extended warranty?

8 years of relationship she is 29F im 31 M …

I really dont know what to do anymore ? Every single thing my wife touches or comes close to just ends up breaking… at first its funny sure yeah but when i end up several thousand of dollars per year in the hole because of her wreckless behaviour its really less funny… over the past 8 years its absolutely disgusting the quantity of things she breaks… its really that simple something works > she touches it for one second > it no longer works… the worse part is her not admitting it or just laughing it off… im seriously lost at what to do to make her realize im sick of it…

Today she broke my 1500$ monitor that i just bought… she also broke my 3 year old first bike that i bought IT DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT OUT OF THE STORE BEFORE SHE BREAKS IT! (she decided to sit on it even tho its a toddler bike) ???

She seems to have no care whatsoever for nothing just careless and wreckless and can never ever admit her wrongs this is affecting me to a point of im thinking of leaving her….

All i work for is to fix everything she breaks around the house!

Not to mention the yearly car accidents and oopsies she gets… im exhausted

I have a Canadian spec Tiguan R line 2021…

At 94k km the check engine light came on… didn’t get time to get it to the dealer but at 97K i did! Turns out pcv is bad and evap canister needs to be replaced…

Now on the way back from the dealer for the first time a low oil level light came on… I stopped roadside and checked oil found to be low i made it home (10km away) parked the car and haven’t driven it… reached out to vw dealer and told them they said to not add oil if the light isn’t on… which is on and off…

Took the car today and sure enough it came back on i did add 0W20 oil syntec but non vw spec… (since my last oil at 94K was 0W20 liqui moly)

How screwed am i? I used non vw spec oil (dont meet 504 requirements)

After dealer replaces the pcv valve will this issue stop?

Did i damage the engine running a bit on low oil?

Mind you prior to this all oil changes were done at 8500km intervals approximately and never ever had an low oil level light appear…
