Togiak Scout vs Khuraburi Ti?

Trying to decide between these two models, thinking of getting one or the other - but not both.

Is there anyone who has seen both in real life and can speak about the differences between the two? I'm particularly curious about the following:

  • Weight - how do their weights compare?
  • Case thickness - on paper the Khuraburi is significantly thicker by about 3 mm. Is the difference noticeable in practice?
  • Durability - one is a diver whereas the other one iis a field watch. Does that give them any practical difference in terms of scratch resistance / durability?

Thanks in advance 👍

Wearing two watches (one in each wrist) at the same time should be socially acceptable

If it is socially acceptable to wear multiple other types of bracelets or jewelry at the same time, why are watches limited to only one? Wearing one on each wrist should be accepted as personal expression.

Helm on vacation till July 27?

I just saw this message on Helm's website. Does this mean that they're basically closing shop for a month, and therefore the wait lists will not be moving at all until the end of July?

Is this something that they do every year?

Which character do you wish Hergé used more often in the series, and which one less often than they were?

The subject line is self explanatory: Which character would you nominate in each category, and why?

Japanese automatic vs solar quartz

With Japanese manufacturers excelling at producing both automatic movements and solar quartz (e.g. Eco-Drive, Tough Solar, etc)... when looking for new watches, what type of Japanese movement do you lean more towards, and why?

How do you get your Oceanus outside of Japan?

I've been looking at a few Oceanus watches and they look really cool! Unfortunately for us who do not live in Japan (not have planned a trip there in the foreseeable future) the only options to purchase seem to be second hand watches on Chrono24 or resorting to relatively obscure websites like Ippo-Japan, Sakura, or others that come up in Google but frankly I don't have experience with them to trust them.

For those of you who have pulled the trigger from outside Japan, what service did you use?
