Woke up shaken from a deeply disturbing nightmare about my family. TW ASSAULT.
I just woke up from an incredibly intense and disturbing nightmare, and I need to post this somewhere to shake off the feeling because it was so heavy.
In the dream, I was visiting my uncles at a massive apartment building. At one point, I was in a room by myself getting ready, just wearing a baggy t-shirt. My uncle came into the room and assaulted me. I remember screaming "no, no, no, stop," but he wouldn't. He made comments about doing it again to my other uncle who just chuckled.
I managed to escape and ran into other family members in/around the apartment building. I was panicked and told them something terrible had happened and that I needed to get away right then. Meanwhile, my uncle was actively hunting for me. He somehow convinced my family that I was falsely accusing him of rape. Because of that, the whole family turned on me and got angry at me instead of helping.
The only support I had was my sister. She was actually in the dream too, on the phone with me the entire time, trying to help me figure out what to do and how to escape. She tried to get a car to come get me but I woke up before I got to her.
Waking up from this left me feeling unsettled. I know it’s a dream but it felt like a memory. When I talked to my sister about it she told me she had a similar dream many years ago.

My friend passed away a little over 3 years ago. Is she finally at peace?
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read.
My friend here passed away, not sure if it was drugs, health problems, or her own doing.
At the time of her passing we were not speaking, I didn’t feel valued in our friendship (she treated me like an ATM instead of a friend) but we had been up and down for about 15 years. She was more like a sister to me than anything, we helped each other out a lot in life but she was always a little (sometimes very) cruel towards me.
Sometimes I feel like she’s haunting me, she could be quite petty and would say/do rude things to “knock me down a peg” in her life, like bringing up how people thought I was weird growing up, how someone was disgusted by the thought of having a crush on me.
Is she finally at peace? Was she mad at me for “abandoning” her? How did she pass?
