Someone in my life inquiring about a diagnosis?

NAT

USA. Today, someone in my life asked me how I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I told them I had an assessment/evaluation done by a psychiatrist. This individual is seeing either or psychiatrist or PsyD for counseling and said that doctor was able to prescribe meds as well. I asked this individual what their therapist had diagnosed them with and they said they were diagnosed as "old and depressed." This person then went on to ask me about which behaviors I saw displayed in them (as someone who used to interact with them regularly.) I told them that as someone with a mood disorder, I could see that traits of mood instability in them (high highs and low lows, as well as irritability and rage sometimes.) I recommended a formal assessment to this individual and also told them about TMS for depression and neurofeedback as potential suggestions that I know of.

I am not requesting a diagnosis or anything that goes against the rules of this sub. But would a formal assessment or evaluation be the first step?

Brown covers over their knees in S3

Why did they start wearing those brown covers over their knees in season 3? I don't recall seeing them prior to this.

Renew your vowels episode

That part made me laugh so, so hard. Will someone please tell me which episode and time (_:_) it was at so that I can re-watch it?

Is AI message-taking benefiting my treatment?

NAT

Is it simply transcribing the session? Diagnosing me? What are the pros and cons? A pros and cons quadrant?

What goes on the Internet stays on the Internet so it honestly scares me to be completely open and honest. I don't know how it's going to bite me in the *** in the future with being associated with my name and personal information. I'm also a little bit paranoid at the moment.
