Amanda knows the feelings Ciara felt for West. She saw the ups and downs of that friendship. They hooked up, broke up, all of it. There was a lot of gray and ambiguity throughout their relationship despite Ciara's strong feelings for him. Technically, she's not an ex. But throughout all of that, Amanda doesn't view Ciara as West's ex because they didn't put labels on it or he wasn't exclusive to her. It does seem like she has some pride in being a pick-me girl. No mention of her being his ex's best friend either. I guess people who don't know the situation don't need to know that detail.
