Just wanted to come on here and give my real world success with shrinking a hat!

I watched a video on IG and had to try it.

I wear a 7 3/4. Sometimes a 5/8 and sometimes a 7/8. But 3/4 is pretty standard. I decided to try shrinking a size 8.

I boiled a pot of water and dipped the back of the hat for 5 minutes. I then immediately threw it in the dryer for 30 minutes.

It worked like a charm. The only issue is that since it was a white hat, the sweat band is more pronounced after shrinking. But this thing fits my head perfectly. It’s a little roomy but definitely wearable. Throwing a stankee in there makes it perfect

Looking for hat stores in Ocean City, MD. I know about Hatland and Lids at OC, Queenstown and Rehobeth outlets.

Any others in the area?

Anyone have any experience with Members Mark grills? How do they hold up? Would love some examples of experiences both positive and negative

This is a 2 parter:

First, did anyone happen to cop the Orioles Simpson’s Cloud hat that dropped on Lids this morning? I missed it and by the time I got there, all that was available was 7 1/2. If anyone has a 7 3/4 and wants to work a deal, lemme know!

Second, hat stretching. Can I stretch 7 1/2 to 3/4? I don’t want to ruin this hat. Is it possible?

Anyone aware of specific stores in these cities that have Code Red Zero regularly available? Planning a trip and wanted to see if I might get lucky.
