Cale really thought he was putting any level of strength into his grasp, but nope. He’s about as strong as tissue paper, and about as light and pale as some too
Like… they all just left through Beacrox’s ability (and Eruhaben and the GoD left through the GoD’s ability), so is anyone else wondering about Cale’s uncle who’s supposed to be guarding their entrance to the Unconscious and waiting for their return? When do you think he’ll realize they already left?
Though, considering how the chapter ended it’s entirely possible that Cale will end up back in the prison when he falls asleep or something like that, so it’s possible he’ll be seeing his uncle if he escaped the normal way next time
This is what I imagine goes on in Cale’s mind/soul when he’s on the brink of death

I always find it hilarious how cheerful the Vitality of the Heart talks in Cale’s head when he’s just like “don’t worry just throw up some blood! Then you’ll be all good! 👍🏼” so I just find it funny imagining this kind of situation, like a mom holding their kid’s hair back to let them vomit
Just for clarification, this is assuming he DOESN’T become a >!Transcendent!< or a >!God!<, because obviously if he became that then he’d be immortal. So, this is assuming that he stays as a human who will eventually die of old age.
Things to take into account:
Having the Vitality of the Heart- The crybaby said that he lived till about 150 years old, so that’s the bare minimum for how long Cale will live for
The World Tree Dagger- After he stabbed himself, the dagger became part of his heart and the crybaby said that Cale would live for a bit longer than he did, so we could assume his expands his lifespan by either several decades or possibly even a whole century
Consuming Elixirs- The elixirs he ate in the Central Plains (because the fact they were so high quality) likely expanded his lifespan by another few or several decades
The Aipotu Shenanigans- Becoming the World Foundation’s air purifier and consuming his own plate likely added a few centuries to his lifespan considering that the world foundation was life and nature itself and his plate had the potential to become a god
By my personal guess, I’d say that on the low end he’d live until 500 or on the high end live until 650 or even 700. Unfortunately, I still think he’d die before On, Hong, and Raon ever do because he’s still just a human after all, but I think he’d prefer it that way, no parent wants their child to die before them

Does the piece feel overwhelming at all? Like, are there too many mushrooms, too many lights, too many details? Is it still readable and good or has it become too visually overwhelming?
I really want the ribcage, hair, eyes, and the glowing parts of the cloak and hat to stand out but I wonder if it’s too much.

-My style is anime/manga and semi-realism inspired but generally I don’t know what the actual name of this style is, it’s just what I do
-I love details and being able to zoom in and see lots of interesting things
-I used a photo of an anatomical skeleton to get the bones right

In the latest chapter, part 2 chapter 620, we see the First Emperor for the “first time”, but i suspect this isn’t actually the first time.
I don’t have the exact chapter number for it, but does anyone else remember when Cale was about to give a speech at the Roan academy because Lily was going there? Then the speech was interrupted? By a wanderer? By a powerful wanderer that we seemingly never saw again who had a similar power to Choi Han and had black hair and black eyes and seemed very important?
Who else have we just seen show up that is very powerful, has black hair, black eyes, and is seemingly going to be/is compared with Choi Han (because of his gentle face and the fact that Choi Han is currently passed out which probably means he’ll wake up to fight this guy)?
I think this is the same guy. And more than that, i think he’s going to have a lot of comparisons/parallels with both Choi Han and Cale (considering Cale said they were the same and Choi Han and him seem to have a similar power).
It’s definitely anime-inspired, but definitely not anime. It’s got a few parts with semi realism as well, but again definitely not semi realism. I’ve never really thought about what category my style would fall into, so I ask all of you: what the heck is my art style?
This always confused me. During the >!wrath test!< in part 1, Cale says that his favorite food is ramen (likely with Beacrox’s steak as his second favorite) enough so that he wouldn’t mind having it every single day for a month.
However, Cale is Korean and this was translated from Korean to English (since I can’t read Korean), so sometimes I wonder if it was a translation error. Of course, it’s entirely possible that Cale just likes Japanese ramen, but I don’t know.
If anyone can read Korean and/or has the original Korean version I’m really curious to know the answer!
(The reason I wanna know is cuz I’m writing a fanfic and I need to know if it’s ramen or ramyeon before I start looking up recipes and doing research)

Mycena Laevigata, otherwise called Cena, is a Druid loved by all. This is because she isn’t just a Druid, isn’t just an adventurer, she is a hero. And she embodies that word in everything that she is. She’s courageous, kind, charismatic, cheerful, determined, adventurous, and everything a hero could ever want to be and more. She’s a Circle of Spores Druid who calls both people and fungi friends as she goes around the world saving people and visiting home to see her family.
Or at least, she was.
But one day, when she went to visit the mushroom forest she calls home, she was met with a great peril. As she set off spells, the forest filled with magic. When she died, something else opened her eyes. Her friends, the fungi.
Now, the mushrooms that have overtaken her corpse have to continue her life as a hero while still mourning the friend that they carry with them, all without truly knowing how or why any of this happened. Should it ever be revealed that they’re not truly Cena, they would surely be killed. But they continue to try and live as her, to live up to her life, because they know that’s what their friend would’ve wanted. And that is the start of the story of Mycena Laevigata, otherwise called Laevi.
So, I don’t know about anyone else, but for me I think it works in two different modes:
Passive Record: Unlike Cale’s other abilities, Record is a constantly used ability that runs passively in the background of his mind (similarly to how the Vitality of the Heart is also passive). When it’s passively recording things, it grants him a really good recall of those things, but not necessarily perfect. Basically, he can have the best memory a human is capable of. I think this is the case because we’ve seen him perfectly remember things that he never recorded
Active Record: Unlike the Vitality of the Heart, (which is always passive) Record can be actively used as well. When Cale activates Record he’s able to record things perfectly, as if (I believe this was how it was described) he took a picture or video of it and is always able to go back to it. Basically, he’s granted a perfect memory that goes beyond human
That’s how I think Record works, but I don’t think it was ever explicitly stated that Record works passively as well. What do you guys think?
