SX-70r, one stop down. I took the same shot on auto and it overexposed the sky (to be expected), these days, if I want a blue sky, I usually crank the exposure down a little bit.

These are my two favorite photos from a recent couple's shoot. I also made a scrapbook layout that I will frame for the couple. This photoshoot was a challenge as I was using a very contrasty film stock (December 2025), but I managed to make it work and get some photos I was pleased with. Photographed on SX-70r.

Stranger portrait on Polaroid Go Gen 2 on a sunny, hot Florida day.
No.6 size envelope fits them well enough. I was gonna buy square envelopes until I realized these fit the photo just fine. Then I am able to custom print on the envelopes myself! This way I dont have to tell them not to shake it, they can either choose to read or not, lol, but removes my liability for paid events. I actually usually keep the photo myself and just send a scan, but my local mall paid for me to capture photos and give them away! I will improve the graphic eventually but it got the job done!
Usually I ask folks if I can take their photo. This month, I had a sign and people had to approach me for a photo! All of these lovely ladies are strangers :)
edit: my best tip for the Go 2 (haven't used my 3 much yet) is to take flash photos in the shade of a sunny day. I don't know why but it seems to produce the best results. Happy shooting!
I purchased 60 (yes 60) boxes of Polaroid film in late May and early June over three separate purchases. All of it was from December. I know I don't quality for a refund (Polaroid can send film up to 8 months old) but I am not happy my film was not only 6 months old, but fugly. I have ordered special frames that haven't been dark and crushed looking like this. Batch numbers 44112122588 and 47104022688.
I want to note, I did see Jake (the instantcameraguy) make a note that December film wasn't great in a comment somewhere on this forum.
edit: I am aware the pinkish tint is cuz it's effin HOT as hell here. That's with me trying to keep film cool, lol!

Polaroid SX-70r with natural light.
I'd say the camera is better at portraits, and easier to take a selfie on, but it still did a stupid overexposure as seen in pic 2. I have shot only 2 packs so far, but disappointed about that awful overexposure, seems it will still have this problem in bright light. I have been made aware of the "double exposure trick" but I didn't even think i would need it for that shot, ugh. Toy Polaroid gonna be a toy I guess!
I love this pic, not sure if I have posted it before? I love the detail in the vintage crochet sweater! And even though the camera was messed up, the pic turned out cute! Natural light with no flash.
I am using Mint Flashbar 2. Basicly, if you dont have melanin in your skin, you are gonna be overexposed. This is consistent across two different cameras. This photo slide encapsulates the issue perfectly.
edit: I see i am closer to the bottom couple, but this happens on photos a bit further away, too. I have another example from the same day I can post, if needed, where a woman looks like a ghost while her tanner friend is perfect.
1 was for me, 4 were for events. Three separate orders. Already starting to have pod failure on some pics. Nothing I can do, because Polaroid has stated they can send us film up to 8 months old (they told another user they can send Oct film in May).
edit: when I say bulk pack, I mean the 12 pack, 96 exposure packs. so I got 60 packs of December film. It was itype, I am in the US.
