For fuck’s sake, I’ve had it. For the past week, Reddit, Instagram and YouTube have been flooded with stories like “Burnham’s taking over,” “here’s the new cabinet,” “this is the new direction.” I’m sick of the crystal-ball bullshit when the contest hasn’t even been set up! British politics is already a circus, so I’m hoping Keir Starmer walks out, looks straight into the cameras, takes back his resignation, and somehow half the PLP suddenly rallies behind him. Another shameless 180. I’d be jumping my tits off. Just imagine the state of all the pundits, commentators and media. I’d take the absolute piss out of every one of them. Nothing would make me happier than Starmer pulling the biggest U-turn in modern British politics just to make every smug headline look completely daft.
